I think the lack of percussion will make this track sound a bit more barebones than previous ones but at the same time I'm really glad how the chord progression and melody came off, This is the first time since I resumed music that something I made gave me chills, I think I will go back to it and make a proper song.

As the title implies this was done using Hookpad which is an online "barebones" daw. I find very apt to draft musical ideas without getting too overwhelmed.
The scale is F minor. Here I joined the final chiptune version and the original piano one which lacks percussion.

Fun fact: the Felicia wip was actually part of the sketches but I got a bit too carried away with it and now I will try to make it into a proper illustration. Her place was taken by the "hanging" girl.

I think this is my favorite track among my recent ones. I found that in some of those I was being to "jumpy" with the melody.
I tried fixing that by upping my usage of ostinatos not only of rhythm but also of notes.
