The tranquillity of Grimmauld Place was something that Harry was still getting used to. Kreacher had worked wonders to clean the place up now that Voldemort was finally vanquished; it was even good enough for Harry to host his eighteenth birthday party here earlier in the year. The dark, drab colours had been brightened up quite a bit, and the dust, mold, and unsightly heads of the Black family’s past house-elves had all been removed. It was honestly starting to feel like home to him.

Harry really needed to find a better meeting place for his brats. The Room of Requirement was fine enough in theory, but given how many students knew about it now, it was hard to get there undetected.
