Part 59 - Behind the scenes

Yeah. Only took a month or so to edit eight images. Sigh.

At least the video was up like a week after the initial project, so I've got that going on for me!

We're coming to Finland in the start of July, and I'm hoping to get at least one (preferably two) Project Ls from the trip. The brown and beige colours of Malta aren't very inspiring, to be honest, and the possibility to just drive for hours in Finland seems such an exotic idea nowadays.

Hopefully we can catch up with Didi Ou, ...

There was this photographer who liked to shoot latex, but after moving to Malta, he was very sad and didn't feel like doing anything. He felt like every wall was caving in and crushing him, and being in the tiny island of Malta, there was no escape.

Leila stretching out. It's always difficult to wear a latex catsuit for the first time, as it's filled with talcum powder and as it hasn't yet been stretched before.

The suit looks so nice on Leila, though. It's amazing, really!

Gotta have another shoot sometimes soon to properly show out the suit in an environment that's more interesting than our new place.

My life's been extremely hectic the last few months with balancing life, work and my personal mental stability. There just aren't enough hours in the week to do what I'd like to, and when I have free time, I'm too exhausted to do anything.

Project L: Part 58 – Ta' Qali National Park

Well here are again. It's always such a pleasure. Remember when you tried to kill me twice?

We headed off to Ta' Qali National Park in the middle of the tiny island of Malta. Starting around 10 AM, there was barely anyone going about, so we were able to shoot in relative privacy.

FINALLY, the 58th Project L has been shot today in the beautiful Ta Qali National Park here at Malta. Who knew that there's actually green things on this sand-coloured rock in the middle of Mediterrania?

Project L: Part 57 – Behind the scenes

The article with the project doesn't really dig that deep into the process of wearing latex, but more into the part with photography, and more precisely my love with this particular lens from Canon, which I use nowadays almost exclusively.

As if I weren't busy enough, a strong flu just hit me. I've been trying to heal it for a week with no energy to do anything, but today I told myself that I'd better at least get something done.

So I started editing the behind the scenes photos of the 57th part.

I'm not quite sure when I can release the whole batch, as I think that Vanja is traveling around Europe at the moment. Saw some photos of her on Facebook posing together with Sister Sinister, too... Nice!

Project L: Part 57 – The vocalist in Marsaskala

It's now here. The 57th Project L, shot with Vanja, the vocalist for a local metal band.

I drove off to Marsaskala, which in itself was a great achievement, as driving in left-handed traffic with a VW Transporter with no aircondition, with the steering wheel on the wrong side is rather peculiar. But I'm getting used to it more by more, kilometre by kilometre.

I'll try to arrange a Christmas shoot soon if I can arrange the schedule with the girls. Can't promise anything, though, because e...

Dog, work, work, dog. Cleaning. Remembering to take breaks.

Yeah, I've been way too busy.

But worry not, for we have – goddamn finally – planned the shoot for tomorrow, and tomorrow we shall shoot, should it rain or shine. Although it looks like it ain't going to shine.

Maybe I'll get back on my feet soon. I've got that whole two-day holiday coming up near Christmas, too.
