WIP: Part 104 #2

There was a surprisingly high skill ceiling with the new camera in the relatively high-action pace of Project Ls, where we move quickly from place to place, and where I shoot a lot of video among the photos.

In practice, it should be 90% identical to my old one, with most of the buttons in the same places; but when shooting, I have this extremely tight muscle memory, and whenever I don't find the exact button/setting wherever I was expecting it to be, my creative mind went all somersaul...

WIP: Part 104 #1

I hear y'all, and introduce a bit more socks and dresses!

Here is the first image from the upcoming 104th part that we shot yesterday with Jonna—and, again, it starts with a black Volvo.

Patreon VLOG 5 - Pools, BBQ houses and latex updates

The pool is filling up. Kinda.

An outdoor grill house exists.

More latex incoming.

Ordering new latex: What would you like to see?

Hi!

Yes, I know, I've been really heckin' active recently. It's because I'm on vacation from my main job. For whole two weeks!

Anyway, I think it's time to update some of our latex wardrobe, with some easy adjustments: dresses, socks and stockings! Or maybe more.

As Libidex, our previously most trusted provider is affected by Brexit and loooong waits due to having to haul everything through the Finnish customs, I was thinking of another provider—the Ukrainian Bright & ...

Upcoming content - A brief summary

Well, at the moment there is nothing certain planned for any exact dates - everyone is either on their holidays abroad and/or extremely busy with their summer jobs.

I'll try to find time for a full Project L as soon as possible. I still haven't tested my new camera properly.

Besides full projects, we've planned on more frequent latex streams as soon as we are able to - hopefully after two weeks or so, when is the estimated time we could get our fiber internet connection set up.<...

Patreon VLOG 4: Sendin' some cards

Digging a bit into my process of signing, sorting and sending cards.

I've done some adjustments in my lighting setup, as well. Do you like it? It's at least better than the latex cupboard thingy.

Still haven't got the fiber setup, so I couldn't do our latex stream yet—our laggy 2 Mbit/s upload speed would not be enough, not by a long shot.

Photour's category page for Project L has been updated

Due to limitations hard-coded in the current theme of Project L, there is a limit of 200 posts shown at any time—and as Project L has published over 200 posts, including main posts, behind the scenes, remasters and its spinoffs, the first projects were not showing.

This is now fixed, and I created a completely new page for the category: https://photour.net/projectl/

Now this will probably kill the data usage o...

Patreon VLOG #3 - Filling up the latex wardrobe

I was supposed to fill up the latex wardrobe as soon as possible we moved in, but it took me almost two months.

I was thinking that, hey, maybe I should just do it. And show all of the latex that I own.

So I did just that.

Learning from this video and its rather dull lighting, I actually set up a permanent light fixture above me to counter this problem.

Yes, proper lighting would even make me appear more awake.

IMPORTANT: Changes in Patreon tiers – New tier added for videos

This day was coming. I knew it.

Well, not exactly. I had anticipated something akin to this, but not very precisely—for I am not a fortune teller.

Videos take a lot of time to shoot, edit, revise, edit, upload and publish, and as they are high-quality 4K videos, they require a lot of storage space, juice from my computers and extremely expensive video gear. Vimeo's Pro subscription costs money as well.

And now that YouTube has demonetised pretty much everything I ...

Patreon VLOG #2 - Busy things & small glimpse of our home

Oh?

Another VLOG is about to hatch? It's true!

It is so much easier to do vlogs with the new camera. It just works!

In the beginning I'm keeping the videos very short and quick, without that much planning—it helps me get into a routine and to find out what doesn't work in a practical way.

Later on, I'm planning on upping the quality. Hopefully.

Project L's Patreon is now billed monthly - what does this mean?

As the title says - Project L's Patreon is now billed monthly, and any newcomers are required to pay before accessing the whole of Patreon's content history.

No more freeloaders!

More reasons for more frequent, more casual content.

And thank you for your trust.

As far as I know, no actions are required from you, as old Patrons. You will be billed at the start of the next month, as it has been for quite a while.

Patreon VLOG #1: From "per creation" to a monthly subscription

Look.

For some reason I'm not that scared of being in front of a camera any more. I don't know whether it's all those record-your-answers-via-webcam job interviews I had to do, or whether I've just gone insane.

Whatever it is, I'll try to start a I'll try this; a vlog.

If you're unsure what the heck I am talking about, please read this post—it is extremely important: https://www.patreon.com/posts/68...

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: Turning Project L into a monthly payment instead of per creation?

It is time to get serious. And I don’t like being serious.

But.

It has come to my attention, that the current Patreon payment plan of “per creation” has been exploited. A lot.

I always knew that it was a kind of a risk, and I was willing to take it, because, well, it was the fair thing to do to you, my dearest Patrons. One project, one charge. If I didn’t create a project, I did not get paid—and you would not have to pay for “nothing”.

Now, of course, thi...

PATREON-ONLY (thus far): Project L: Part 103 - Video

YouTube is being a being a hecking silly thing right now. Apparently this video is "sexually gratifying" and "contains nudity".

Nudity? NUDITY?

Didi's skin is 90% covered!

Ridiculous.

I'm still a bit on the edge on what to do. I'll probably release a cut down teaser-thingy to YouTube in hopes to get some advertisement money. On average, one video makes around 100 euros with my view count, so there's that—but it also raises awareness of Project L with over 20,000 subs...

Project L: Part 103 - Didi's Rainbow Hair

See the full project here: https://photour.net/project-l-part-103-didis-rainbow-hair/

This part was long! There were quite a few photos, but then again, the light was great, the locations were nice and—best of all—Didi and her hair, as well as the outfit, looked awesome!

Part 103 is nice. This part makes me happy.

I'm happy with these photos.

First of the REMASTERED Project Ls - Parts 12, 13 and 15

This is it.

This is what you've been asking for!

At least some of you did. Many agreed, though.

Three remastered projects with the price of one. A super sale, I would say.

Due to limitations set by my current internet provider, the 4K file links will be offered to Microsoft's OneDrive to be downloaded. I would prefer to host them on Patreon, so the system is not depending from multiple services, but, alas, this is what has to be done now.

Remastering Part 15 - Work in Progress

Jasmin's first appearance to Project L was a part that was sought after in an ancient poll that I held on Patreon asking about your favourite old projects.

Since then I haven't done much latex photography in a studio, only a handful of times; even though it is a demanding art style in itself, I have felt that more casual style of photography is much more appealing.

There can be instances where a combined studio/casual photoshoot could work, though. We'll have to look and see wha...

Remastering Part 13 - Work in Progress

There's around 100 images to be available in the remaster of the 13rd part. Before we get to that, though, I need to check with Miia whether the photos are okay to publish properly.

As some avid viewers can probably see, I've turned all previously black-and-white photos to their coloured versions, with my objectively better skills of editing and colour management when compared to 2013, which was—amazingly—almost nine years ago.

Software and computer monitors have advanced, too...

Project L: Part 99 - Behind the scenes of a latex photoshoot

I recently bought myself an e-book to catch up in my lacking English storytelling skills—to find more creative ways of telling what I mean, to have some actual, proper textual context within my audiovisual creations.

Especially as I got a job offer from one of the biggest Finnish companies to do audiovisual and textual storytelling in English.

And whenever I learn new ways of storytelling, I just absorb them in entirety to my creative arsenal.

So, me reading books written ...
