DEPRESSION

I do not know if any of you battle with depression.

I have highs and lows and lately its been low.

When that happens, I do not feel like doing much and I feel disconnected and isolated.

Feeling Stuck

Since April, I have been feeling stuck and stagnant.

Fighting depression. Depression runs in my family.

I ran out of money to renovate my house so that was a big bummer.

I understand I am blessed for even having a house!! So many people around the world are facing housing crisis!!

All my good friends that I have made, left. So I feel pretty lonely sometimes because friends are important to me.

But I know better days are ahead!!

I have been avoiding going outside because temperatures here are 37-40 C which is 98.6 and HIGHER!!

I was able to spend 2 full days with Ebi and met his mom who came over to help him.

I will sorely miss him!

Good Bye

Today I say good bye to my best friend (besides my boyfriend) - who is leaving for the United States.

Ebi who is a politicsl refugee from Iran. He has been waiting for almost 11 years to be accepted into the US.

Finally, it is happening. He will be in the US in less than 10 days!

While I am super happy for Ebi, I am also sad since he is my best friend here.

Nature

I love my Harley Davidson boots for hiking.

The treading is great for loose rocks and the length is perfect for shrubs ans sharp objects.

Gypsy Lady

I had this paisley bag for over 20 years traveling.

You can’t imagine how many times I had it stitched up.

My college friend Lily gave it to me. We all have one.

She said she would give me hers if anything happened to mine.

20 years of backpacking and sailing!!!

Unfortunately, it burned in the fire I had in 2020.

YES It’s A Scorpion!

There are many scorpions around my home.

When I first moved in - I got bitten 3 times.

2 times by the same Scorpion as it stung me behind my thighs and when I moved, it fell off and stung me where it landed.

The 3rd time, there was a Scorpion in bed and it stung my back.

Now having 3 cats in the house, they should hunt and get rid of scorpions.

Not so cold anymore.

Huge Rocks

So we had to make vsn heavier in back so we loaded alot of heavy stones in van.

Loki and I got off van and thankfully the rocks worked!!

The van went back up wrong side!

Drove Around

We drove around yesterday exploring dirt roads that are not used so much.

We got stuck at one point. We were going down a very rough and rocky road,

No place to turn back. We had to try to drive backwards but we kept skidding at one part.

This Morning

Sleeping nude again! Yeah!

Weather warming up but it gets too too hot here!

My boyfriend’s youngest brother got into a serious car accident. He was woke up and recognized people in the ER. Had some nevk injuries.

But a few days ago, sadly -His right eye was removed.

My BF has been quite shocked and dealing eith this.

Gangly Pup

I have a lone gangly pup at the back of my house for 4 days now.

I feel soooo bad for not feeding him, but if I do, he will not leave.

And having 1 dog, 4 cats is enough of furbabies for me.

But everytime I see this cute puppy, my heart aches for it being alone.

Rainy Season
