Davin and Arlo would be deep into their relationship during this point, and perhaps trying to help Arlo through exposure therapy. It may also help him recognize how different he and Samuel are.
Unfortunately, Samuel is only fixated on Davin throughout the visit

Within this film, Rowdy would absolutely serve as the main villain in the plot- he'd serve as an unethical futuristic scientist

Sadly, this has made me very unhappy with this story!
Although this offers slight insight into Arlo's story, it is not to be considered canon in any way

After suffering a brain injury that ended Ramsey's boxing career, it was decided that Abigail would provide financially for the family. (she works as an air flight attendant at the only airport in their small town)
This left the home responsibilities to Ramsey, and from elementary school to middle school he would pick up the boys on Fridays and take them to lunch. Abigail didn't know about this tradition, since the boys missed an hour of school each time
