ELLC Side Story?

I'm thinking about writing a short side story that will feature Fizzy as the main character, something of an experiment on my part. Without spoiling too much - she has been separated from Boxxy & crew due to unforeseen circumstances and will go on a solo adventure before she can rejoin the others.  I was also planning on having her Rank Up during this time.

The story will run for 10-15, max 20 chapters and will be posted as a separate novel on RRL and will run parallel to...

I'm thinking of devoting one or two whole chapters to Fizzy and how she's been handling being separated from the rest of Boxxy's posse.

EDIT: After some revision, the skill Heavenly Aura will be replaced by another one, called Parallel Plot.

It had barely been 20 seconds since a certain catgirl-shaped monster and its pet assassin leaped out of Reginald’s window that it reappeared and sat idly on the windowsill.

“Hey, Reggie, me again.”

“What is it, Boxxy?” he asked in a calm tone. Which was quite surprising considering he was currently reevaluating his entire life. “Did you forget something?”

“Yeah. How long does a Doppelganger take to Rank Up past Level 25?”

“About 12 to 15 years...

Opinions needed for possible future development

I'm thinking of adding a pregnancy subplot that makes absolutely no sense and is bound to cause a lot of trouble for our intrepid Doppelganger. Which option do you guys think is better?

Preview of Death Comes In Many Shapes 1

The village of Carran was a remote settlement that had just under 300 residents. This place was located at the foot of the Sawblade mountains, and as such often found itself under siege by packs of monsters that had overflowed from those treacherous peaks. Which is why it would be hard to call this village ‘peaceful’ and also the reason the people living there had to erect a 4-meter high wooden wall to protect themselves.
