Thankfully her work is generally impeccable, so there's little to worry about outside of how much.... time might get taken testing said toys. : 3

Another sketch/character for Kingdom of the Cerulean Moon.
Still ruminating on a name for her, but this cutie designs a lot of the toys and various other magical items that exist within the castle bedrooms. Some commissioned by Io directly.
Harnessing the magic that Callisto studies in the libraries and brings back from deep space, she's always crafting new enchanted toys for the pleasure of everyone.

Sorry for this one taking so long, but our whole household caught some kind of flu bug! So I actually ended up making this while sick. I feel like some of the attitude that comes with feeling crummy wiggled it's way into this strip. < X D
But I'm doing much better and here it is!

Starting with another sketch for Kingdom of the Cerulean Moon.
This time out we have King Jupiter (who is trans masc) & their travel companion Deimos. Making use of Biela's comet's to travel when possible, they often stop in along with her.
Jupiter is interested in seeing what's out there in cosmos and Deimos is well, frankly a bit terrified of that. But he's okay as long as he's at Jupiter's side.

Color art for Kingdom of the Cerulean Moon.
A color version of the Callisto sketch from the previous round of sketches, Callisto is very big on romantic starry skies. Her hair became duel toned when Neith appeared. She's a bit grumpy that no one has joined her yet! Such a crime!
Ever since she started messing around with magic, the darker portions of her hair have started to shimmer with gold. What kind of magic is she tapping into?

When Io is away on trips, they'll sometimes ask Ganymede to make sure Mercury is safe and cozy while they're gone. Ganymede is more than happy to oblige since Mercury is such a sweetie and since both of them very much enjoy being soft together... and on each other and in ya know, certain places... like a big comfy bed! : 3
Seriously, they have a lot of fluffy blankets and giant pillows. This moon gets cold!
On long snowy nights when others might be busy and maybe some of the stories Ganymede has read in the royal library have provided "inspiration" they take to their room to have a little bit of self care. : 3
Why not have a good time nestled in cozy blankets in pillows on a cold winter night?

A powerful and mysterious entity, the Goddess Freya checks up on all the inhabitants of the various kingdoms as she journey's through the cosmos. Often towering above them high into the night sky she does have the power to shrink down if she chooses.
Just one of the various gods and goddesses that roam the vast expanse, she is kind and caring and often the kingdoms bring her their best food and drinks when she visits.

Io enjoying a toy solo indoors where it's nice and toasty. They're very sensitive to touch, so hands aren't required a lot of the time, just something nice and stimulating.
The moon they live on is often snowy so there's lots of... indoor activities. The view is awfully nice huh? : 3
So while I was out with health and pet stuff, I had plenty of time to think on the previous sketches as a little project. So the first thing I wanted to do was give it a proper name!
I've decided on Kingdom of the Cerulean Moon. Originally Mice of the Silver Moon, I thought this fit better since it's color themes for backgrounds have ended up being largely blue green and very classic manga inspired. Also, not all the cast are mice! So I'm pretty happy with this!

So not everyone in Kingdom of the Cerulean Moon are mice! Living in the same moon kingdom ruled by Io is Ganymede.
Ganymede is an NB cutie who cares for the palace libraries and loves to read so much that they often get caught up in the stories of other far away kingdoms and don't stop reading till late into the night.
Ganymede is extremely soft and cuddly. When Io is too busy or on a trip, they take care of Mercury and make sure they have some company. : 3
