There's more ways to infuse and use magic than this btw, this is just some of the most well known methods. The epilogue game dives way more deeply into fringe ways of manipulating magic, and ways that objects can become magically infused and such. I don't feel like I'm the best at explaining how all of this works so I hope this makes sense!
