How not to travel America (part 6)

Patreons: Thanks for your patience on this one. I hope it’s worth the wait

As usual please watch with the subtitles and in HD. 1080p

Title, thumbnail and description will be amended tomorrow. I’ve been working on this  non stop since 6. I think that can wait 😆

I also might make a few tweaks to the audio levels and transitions tomorrow morning if they aren’t quite up to scratch (let me know if you notice anything) this could result in a reupload and therefore de...

Two Brits hike through rural Virginia (How NOT to Travel America #5)

Here we go Patreon gang!

*Watch with subtitles and in HD for full effect*

In this episode Tom and Greg set off from Washington DC and head for thee wilderness of  Shenandoah Valley National Park where they plan to hike some of the Appalachian trail. Hiking alone won't be enough though - they'll need to hitchhike multiple times, and so far there has been no evidence that anyone (other than a fan of the channel) would pick them up. Failure to hitch a ride could leave t...

All the best deleted scenes and unused clips from Episode 1 of How not to travel America, giving you more of an insight into the adventure but also how me and Greg operate when we're out on the field!

There was actually less good stuff in Episode 1 than I had initially anticipated, probably because I ended up using so much of it for the actual episode, but hopefully there's enough to keep you amused.

Patreon Party, General Chit-Chat (All Tiers)

A long overdue chill sesh with the Patreons. There will be chatting, there will be burning questions answered, and maybe a few other bits and bobs too.

Patreons only YouTube Stream on Thursday 12th at 6pm GMT

It'll be a general chit chat this time - you can ask me questions and we could even watch a classic back together and I could share my thoughts!

This stream will be for ALL patreons as a thank you for your patience with the longer expected HNTTA release dates. Very soon I plan to do some more streams on the $4 Tier, each one with it's own specific topic: music, sport, computer games, etc

Two clueless Brits attempt to get on Dance Cam at the Baseball (How NOT to Travel America #4)

We got there in the end! Thanks for your patience everyone.

As always watch with subtitles as some key lines are hard to hear, and make sure you're watching in the highest quality.

In this episode Tom and Greg attempt to cycle from Frederick, Maryland to the nations capital on two cheap craigslist bikes, and in their struggle to do so inadvertently create one of the most heart warming moments the channel has ever seen. The next day, after a quick visit to Joe Biden's crib, they...

NOT EPISODE #4 (but a frustrating update)

This video should cover the current predicament.
Let me know your honest thoughts in the comments. I'll be here and will try my best to respond.

I'd like to make it up to you all. How about a patreons only YouTube stream one night next week? I think we're due one anyway.

Also bonus footage #1 will be with you on Thursday if that's any consolation

Kayaking through rough black country areas! (Training session #1 for the world's hardest kayak race)

*Watch with subtitles!*

My Uncle Ed has signed us both up for one of the most legendary kayak races on earth, the Devizes to Westminster race. The race consists of 125 miles of canal and river (Thames) with 14 miles of running past locks along the way. The race ends at the houses of parliament in London. It isn't until April 2023, but judging by this first outing, there is lots of work to do if we are to stand a chance of completing it.

Yo Patreons, it's here. The subtitles are done now but might might not be too accurate towards the end.

Do make sure you use them though, as some speech is hard to hear!

Finally, there's a chance I might have to upload an amended version of this, so bare in mind that your heartfelt comments might be lost, so you might want to save them for the public upload.

Thanks for your patience everyone, let me know what you thought of this one!

*NOT A VIDEO* (but two updates)

Patreons of old and new (Welcome new ones!)..

Two things:

Firstly, Part 3 of How NOT to travel America is not going to be with you until Tuesday unfortunately (Wednesday on YouTube). I won't bore you with the reasons as it's a mixture. I am releasing a play along geoguessr video tonight to satisfy that itch at least. Apologies!

Secondly, can all those who ordered the Amynedd 16 bit adventure vinyl record all that time ago please check their emails, and particularly the sp...

We attempted to sail a tin can boat down the length of Long Island (How NOT to travel America #2)

My lovely patreons: here it is
(Proper description will be here tomorrow)

*As usual please watch with subtitles and in HD, however the subtitles may not be 100% accurate, especially in the last 15 minutes. They came late and sub standard and although I've tried my best to make them right before rushing out for the match, bare in mind there will be mistakes.

Other than that I hope you enjoy!

Two Brits travel Boston to Miami by any means necessary! (How NOT to Travel America #1)

Here it is Patreons. A week late but I'm really hoping worth the wait.
As usual let me know what you thought of this episode in the comments.

*Watch with subtitles and in HD for full effect*

Grab the popcorn and hunker down for the most grandiose adventure series this channel has ever seen. This is How NOT to Travel America, a comically haphazard yet uniquely uplifting adventure  in which two bumbling brits attempt to charm their way from Boston to Miami by any me...

Tom falls off his bike, and the couple get extremely hungover [Frankfurt to Munich Bike Ride #4]

A $4 Tier production
Subtitles available

Having spent the night in some spooky castle grounds, Tom and Verity attempt to take a big off-piste shortcut through hilly forests in a bid to shave off miles. The shortcut would have been a success if it weren't for Tom's thrill seeking antics, which had him eating gravel. Far from civilisation with open wounds that needed cleaning, Tom had better hope that his bike still works..
A couple of days later in Munich, Verity and a ban...

When we arrived at the fairy-tale town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber having cycled a whopping 66 miles in the blistering heat, the last thing Verity expected was an emotional rollercoaster, but that's what she got thanks to the questionable planning that went into my unexpected proposal. Thankfully the night ended on a high, and she said yes! After a romantic rest day in Rothenburg, we embarked on another big and beautiful day of cycling whic...

Verity went into beast mode on this epic day of cycling.. [Frankfurt to Munich Bike Ride #2]

A $4 Tier production
Subtitles available

Having found a great camp spot the previous night, me and Verity set off for the vibrant medieval city of Wurzburg where we would stumble upon a free Sting concert, before embarking on the biggest, hottest and most beautiful day of cycling of the trip. Heat was a real issue as we set our sights firmly on the fairy-tale town of Rothenberg ob der Tauber, but with regular beer, ice-cream and sausage stops, I was hoping that we could make...

Verity wasn't a fan of my questionable woodland route.. [Frankfurt to Munich Bike ride #1]

In the summer of 2022, just after Dribbling Britain, me and Verity decided we needed a well earned break from our respective jobs. We'd also been talking about doing a bike trip for some time. I knew first hand how beautiful and culturally wonderful southern Germany was from back in 2014. Verity was also keen to visit scenes from childhood show "10th Kingdom" as well as some Disney-esque castles, and experience the German countryside for the first time in true style.  It's never that sim...

DRIBBLING BRITAIN - BONUS FOOTAGE/BEHIND THE SCENES #1

Here you go folks, all the deleted scenes and behind the scenes shots from part 1 of Dribbling Britain. 40 Miles in the Peak District (my biggest training day for Dribbling Britain)

It's the 30th of June 2022, the monstrous Dribbling Britain is fast approaching (roughly 11 days away) and there is still lots of work to be done fitness wise. Stag do incidents aside, 25 miles in Wales was a success, but it time to really push myself and get those legs more conditioned for the big one. Coming in at 40 miles (64km) in distance, just over 1000m (3,400ft) of ascent, and taking in some of Derbyshire's and indeed England's most picturesque villages and stunning landscapes, this p...
