TW Update #23: Le Pet Du Azula

Works finishing up on the Azula model! Or models, as I suppose it is. Check out the attached webm. for a sample!

Azula (Or '78' as her Instructor shortens her to) appears as a pet thrall in the game, being instructed by another. I'd say it's entirely optional as to whether you run into her or not, but I feel that the odds of it happening are probably more like 99%.

I now have a working model of L-D19 to use for the game. There's still plenty of different expressions/poses/hairtypes etc. to plug in, but compared to the initial setup cost those're negligible and will be something I can leave as ambient background work while the majority of the workday can be spend on new things. I'm hoping to do some fancier lighting stuff with the model too, but ...

TW Update #21: The Ty's That Bind

My goodness, update day again! Crazy how time does that.

So with expressions semi-solved, we're moving onto wider assets so I can start making scenes properly again- here's L-D19 in a very familar pose.

However, you may note that there will be more poses! It seems to me it'd be more interesting to break up various attitudes into various stances, as well as a few head-dips...though again that could pose some troubles with asset production.

I'm also still torn on layered chara...

Penbusters (Halloween Fanwork)

So here's something I did for a bit of fun for another hypno VN game called Penlight; basically taking the characters from that and spoofing them into Ghostbusters.

It's rough, nothing really sexy happens and it's more than a little silly, but hey it's content and I made it and thus you guys deserve to see it too!

I quite like the style of it as well, so may seek to emulate it for other sketchy pieces.

Thrallworks Update #20: Expressiveness

Been drawingboarding how expressions work this past couple of weeks. I think I've hit on a system I'd be pretty happy with, but haven't been able to code it in yet. But I can give you a bit of a rundown.
