I love me some Hollow Knight stuff. Anything to draw these sexy buggos. I still have trouble trying to incorporate their weapons. Everything pretty much went smoothly. The dominating pose and quick foreshortening of the vessel really holds everything together. The background is always a joy to work on cuz i can just take reference from the godlike in-game...

July 2021 Update

Hey guys 👋 Happy July! Lets run down what's been happening so far.

- Recently told myself to take it easy on comms and only accept 1 a week. So that I may have time for myself to chill or work on my own stuff. I really want to show you guys what I have in mind for content but it may not come as often still.

- I just got started on my new OC Ref sheets so that's something.

-Got to thinking again; I should really add a couple more tiers to my Patreon. Nothing extraordinary ...

Slime Gorl.

A sort of Part 2 to a previous commission for SquishiestFre on Twitter. They just wanted their Slime OC paired with their Au Ra OC which I've drawn previously.

First time ever drawing a Slime Character. I think I did pretty well. If i were draw another slime oc i think i would make them more a little more opaque. There's a difference between making something look like either jello, jam, or gummy. So I'll be interested to experiment again.

Another thicc pinup that shows both ass and thighs. Always a good combo. The most experimentation from this piece was definitely the background. I don't know the first thing about graffiti art but it was fun looking at references and trying to replicate some typography. I wont lie but the first ref i pulled up was from JetSetRadio. One of my sketches sort of resemble...

Comm: Latifa (Pokémon OC)

Another reference comm. This time I had to design an OC from scratch. Luckily there was lots of back-and-forth communication and since it was Pokémon, I was willing to give it a shot. Very enjoyable.

Process was fun. The first Pink Diancie WIP was just to get the proportions down. Vey genie-like but not what the person had in mind. We talked about hairstyles and clothing and came to an agreement for a thicc Diancie girl in yoga pants.

Went and did this last one in CSP and tried out a new brush for lineart. I LIKE IT! I can keep things mostly clean but the messy texture makes things look more free flowing (I guess).  Coloring was also fun this time. Just enough rendering to show the form.

I really liked how this one turned out.

Booba for days but had a little trouble with her bum. Still happy with the results. I don't think I'm going to use the Text feature on CSP anymore. There aren't a lot of fonts i find pleasing or casual looking. Everything about the dialog here looks outta place. Should've taken a typography class in college.
