Hi everyone! Nai here and I’m back with part two of the Collaborative Planning Project series.

So this week I did a bit more fleshing out to the scenes I wanted to go back to before the next step.

One particular scene was good fun! I got to build out an…interesting conversation between a certain character and the villain (I’m calling them full villain now rather than antagonist because, well, they are pretty darn bad, hehe!). The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update+ 18/August/2023

My wrists were having a bit of a protest to all my typing lately (really need to get my ergonomic keyboard back out!), so I spent some  time reading over what I’ve typed up so far.

It was actually a really good thing to do, as I noticed there was quite a large narrative element missing: the transition for the MC from  detective to Agent!

The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update+ 11/August/2023

It was all about balance this week!

I was getting stuck on a section of the story that really needed fleshing out in a way to balance the intensity of things that have come  before.

Book Four is really full of awesomely cool set-piece type scenes! Yet I also like to make sure that I give more quiet, domestic-type scenes  to balance that out. But I realized that it’s the antagonist’s fault this hasn't happened so far :D

The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update+ 28/July/2023

Oh, it was a good one this week! It had a little dip but really picked up later!

The dip was just me feeling a majorly overwhelmed at one point. There’s SO much I want to do in the world of Wayhaven, as well as Book Four (Curse of Creek Edge, Book One and Two spruce-up, plenty of other ideas…). I always have fun when writing the same scene but a variation for each vampire and thinking how they would handle the situation! Can't wait to write this particular scene! It's a pretty scarily intense moment, but F handles it probably the best out of the bunch in this situation :D

Things have been a little all over the place schedule-wise this week because of more emergency hospital trips. Think I should ask for some office space up there at this point!

Due to this, I couldn’t get to where I had my goal set, which always makes me antsy. So I’m gonna work this weekend so as I can make sure to meet it.
