It takes a moment for my eyes to adjust to the low light. A small lamp gives off a warm umber glow in one corner, the light bulb covered by an ornate, coloured-glass shade. Elegant, stained-wood furniture decorates the edges of the room, topped by fancy ornaments and decor.
The room kind of reminds me of an antique shop, yet it's still incredibly homely.

I thought I'd share a bit of an early process draft of this as I was starting to really decide things for Unit Victor. I have a loose idea for the units of the Wayhaven but when I come to put them in a book, I sit down and really flesh out those ideas.

I continued to work on Chapter 7, reading it and playtesting it and then adding in more of the scenes I know I want in there. Then there was a bug, and I was having serious trouble fixing it...except it was something super easy. I was apparently making it way more complicated than it needed to be :D
So I fixed that and tried to move on, but I was struggling with it so switched to Chapter 8 to give my brain a bit of fresh material to work with.

I'm pretty amazed I did manage to finish, as I got a bit indulgent in some places :D But then if I'm going to indulge on anyone's route, I imagine F would very much encourage that it was theirs, hehe!
Also got to add in a variation for F's route that's very exciting and relates to backstory stuff F has yet to reveal. Though you only get it in one option...
