The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update 18/Sept/2020

Busy one this week where I got more done than anticipated.

I finished my edits and playthroughs for chapter 3, which did take longer than expected. I forget just how many variables are going into these chapters now and I want to try and test for them all, so the testing/editing stage after each chapter will start to take longer.

To give you an idea, this is what a couple of pages from my checklist looks like:

I usually try to keep really on top of variables and what they do, but from time to time an unexpected flag can pop up in them that can lead to something else, so I have to make (scrawled) extra notes, hehe :D

Hi all,

I'm back on social media now, though taking it slow. I will up my presence back to normal next week.

But I really wanted to say thank you so, so much for all of the lovely message and well wishes you all sent, as well as your amazing understanding. 

Chapter 3 testing and editing is done on my end, so I've sent that off to the always incredible @spunkycatninja for proper editing. I am currently writing Chapter 4, which it's nice to get onto a new chapter...

Away for a while

I’m going to be taking a few days away from social media and internet.

My boy, Flint, passed away last night suddenly and unexpectedly, and I just don’t think I can be on social media for a while. There’s some reblogs scheduled to go up on Tumblr and a Monthly bonus content here on Patreon, but I won’t be doing asks or updates this week.

I’ll still be working. I’m on Chapter 3 testing and editing, but will probably wait until next week before starting on writing chapte...

September? September? Hold on, wasn't it only just June last week?!

Man, this year is so slow and so long at the same time, hehe :D

The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 28/August/2020

Emotional week this week! Writing-wise, I mean, hehe! 

I finished A's scene for the second set of split scenes in chapters 3, now I'm onto the final set of split scenes (which are romance ones).

I finished A's single romance scene, A's version of the LT dating N romance scene, and A's version of the LT scene not dating A romance scene.

I think this is the first instance where a love triangle scene will be decided by the hidden points of who you've been choosing. So even...

I spent waaaay too long on this, but I loved finding just the right images to give the perfect feel for Wayhaven in the summer! :D

Another week that just flew by! Being super busy is making this year go so fast, lol!

Got TONS done this week!

Finished F's split scene and got onto A's. A's has been a bit more of a difficult one, which I suppose shouldn't come as a surprise considering ;D

These split scenes are where you can choose who you want to go with, so I need to put in variations for romance, BFF, or just colleagues, just in case. Adam/Ava is not particularly forthcoming for the friend stuff! I want...
