Will you play Boba Birds singleplayer or multiplayer?
I'm opting to make the game include multiplayer! You can run your shop by yourself or with a friend. If you play with a friend, that means that a lot of the in-game resources are shared so you'll have to trust each other to make good decisions! (instead of each of you having your own wallet, it's completely shared!)

Hello! I've been adding animations all around the game to make everything pop! It's been a process figuring out how to map and code out all these animations, For the match 3 game, I got to add some more animations like the tiles moving around to the drink! (Still fixing the drink quality side and the end screen!)
When you create a new recipe, you get additional colors for the match 3 game
If you make only tea, you get 3 colors for the match 3 game
- tea taste (pink)
An eventful week
Hello! I’ve been working on story comics for Boba Birds! Still working on the script since it’ll be one long story with quests and other mini stories :)) I’ve been making a feature to view all the unlocked comics and stories within the game! will be posting updates when I figure it out! :D

Didn’t end up finishing and posting them! I was inspired by a friend’s Alexa and roomba! I’m really amazed by all little robots that are available!

I’m working on integrating night and sunsets into the game, I also want the time of day to affect the decor you can place (lights and other decor will glow and respond differently in the night)
Some birds are also more likely to order hot drinks at night since It’s a lot cooler!
Working on some concept furnitures and decor placement as well, here are some concept doodles for when I was planning how the day and night cycle should work :))

A mini preview of Boba Birds
Hello! Just a small video of a bit of the gameplay.
The match 3 game determines the quality of the drinks, the customers will order from the menu but will sometimes ask for a custom order.
The birds will also (slowly) make and sell drinks while you are away! But they still need your help to finish many orders , manage the menu, inventory, decor, and all shop needs!

Hello! I've added some more customers on top of the wrens and pigeons.
So far, the birds are generated to have different beaks, bodies, accessories, tufts, and more! I added birds like mallards, owls, cockatiels, ravens, and parrots. Let me know if you have suggestions of other types of birds!
I'm thinking of adding different types of penguins with a body different from the round birb model!

Changing from portrait to landscape
The cafe game was originally going to be portrait but I ended up making it landscape so I can make it available on desktop, mobile, and other devices!
here are some example screens that I re-edited to be landscape :)
I struggled with making the decision to end up having it landscape since using portrait mode on the phone seemed most comfortable! But it became harder to design the levels and gameplay with the long length and short width space.
