Howdy, folks!

Just a housekeeping post with some other info spread through, so what's up?

First of all, a huge, HUGE thanks to  Medwyn  for his help here.  Because of him, a lot more work got done that what I was getting done.  A lot of code is being restructured, he was a tremendous help getting a chunk of this update handled.  Moving had a way bigger toll on me than I thought it would, and I wasn't as productive as I would have liked, but...

Hey folks!  Update 1.99 with Dozer here!  Thank you for being patient with the timing.  I've gotten most of the house ready to go, and our official move is tomorrow.

Update Schedule!

Hey folks!  Giving you all the early heads up that I'm gonna delay the update by a couple of days again (for the 19th).  The roommates left last month, and it's me and the BF's turn to move this month with our lease expiring.  I've been busy prepping all the stuff I need to move and with packing, so I'd rather not stress over the time I have.  We got our keys today and the movers are scheduled for the 20th, so we should be all set soon!

What are your thoughts on bad endings?

Just as the title asks, I'm curious about your thoughts on bad endings.

Here lately for a little while now, I've actually really disliked writing stuff that leads to bad endings.  I like giving folks a choice to determine how things play out, but at the same time, I don't get as much from writing negative outcomes and things like that unless it's really fitting.

With Harold's "bad" ending, at one point, I had something much darker in mind, but I thought one day... Why?  ...

With Harold's route coming to an end later this year, I was contemplating the guides again.  The only reason I made the guides initially was to help people, because I was terrible and didn't know what I was doing, to get through the routes as quickly as possible for each new update.
