Hey, folks!  Sorry it's a little later in the day than usual for my updates, but I was at it all day yesterday and today to finish things up.  Things were kinda on the big side, haha (oops).  (and as I type this, I realized I didn't update the UPDATE note in the files)

Anyway!

Happy New Year, folks!  

Last year brought a couple of routes to an end, and it started a new route.  This year, I'll be bringing two more routes to an end, so that'll wrap up the stories of the 5 original cast!  It's been a long time coming, but it's finally here.

That being said, I think it'll be about time to introduce some of the epilogue days and special days this year, so you can expect to see the return of some of our other fellas!  I can't wait to show ...

- There was an issue with his last scene where the player's body and face didn't match colors, and that should be corrected now.  I left out the code that changed those pieces' colors ...

Engaging Destiny - Bugs and Glitches

Please leave any bugs and glitches for Engaging Destiny in this post!

WARNING FOR SPOILERS IN CASE YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THE DEMO YET!

Some things that we are aware of for some devices:

- Button mashing can have unexpected results

- Using the Slow Text can cause a softlock during scripted scenes (namely the bandit scene)

-MacOS full-screen might have graphical issues.  Switch to windowed mode using Command+F (Alt+Enter on PC just in case!)

Engaging Destiny

Hey folks!  One week is all that's left in the month, so I figured I'd go ahead and reveal the title and title screen for the side-project we've been working on.

So, here we have 'Engaging Destiny'!  It's just a static version of the title screen, as it's been nicely animated, but you guys will get to see that soon enough.  

We are on schedule for the demo to hit at the end of the month, and I think the team is all pretty pleased with how things are...

You'll get to meet each one of them in the demo and learn a little bit about them.

More Stuff for the 'other' project!

These were the designs we ended up with in the end for Calen (the human) and Warrick (the lion).  

You can see the large portraits and in a similar style as Endless Bounty, but the small stuff got upgraded to include a bit more detail with larger sprites. 

The month is already halfway over for us, but the progress we're making so far has been pretty great.

October Project Concepts

Hey, folks!

So here's one of the first concepts Gavel drew up of our protagonist and his mentor.  As well, we have the map I made of the continent of Lorithel (if you follow me on twitter, there's a chance you already saw this map!).  There are names on this map some folks might recognize too!

For the characters - 

On the left, we have Calen, the main character of this plot, and on the right, we have Warrick, a knight of the kingdom of Galanor.

Another Small Delay

I am getting tired of having to make these posts, but it's best to keep myself sane instead of stressing over running out of time!  Darius's day needs more time for me to work on, haha.

A Heads Up!

Hey folks!

To keep things quick, I had an accident today.  I was changing the filter of our AC in the attic and my foot slipped off the plywood walkway up there.  Turns out there is -zero- support underneath all the insulation (beyond hidden support beams under insulation), so I fell partially through our ceiling and caught one of the support beams right in my side (it's all that kept me from going all the way through).
