So apparently the potential designs for the next generation of My Little Pony were leaked a while back and I only just now found out about them.  

I got a little excited because I've been a big ol sucker for this series since I was a tot so I scribbled up a ponysona based on 1. the new art direction and 2. my one defining personality trait of constantly having hair in my face.

For my senior seminar class we have to write these blog posts every week and we're required to have a picture to go along with each post.  I think the prof expects us to find photographs that match our content, but he never explicitly said that so basically I'm just going to be doodling Reese every time.

STREAM MACHINE BROKE

Well!  It seems my streaming software doesn't feel like playing nice today and I can't seem to get it to work.  In hindsight I super duper should have checked to make sure that it was working before committing to a stream, but in my defense I've never had problems with this software before.

So here's the deal: I'm going to raincheck the stream until sometime later this week.  In the meantime I'll take a sledgehammer to my computer until it decides to start functioning.

Dappervolk!

Dappervolk was just brought to my attention as being open for registration!  I poked around a little and it seems like a neat website if you're into the RPG/petsite scene.  So I doodled my avatar character.

Sypha concept

Sypha the cursed swordswoman.  Every time she uses the infernal power granted by her sword, the Blade of Biting, she trades a piece of her soul.

Sypha's actually a pretty old character lifted from the NES game Wizardry (where I shamelessly stole the name of the sword).  She was long overdue for some proper art.

During our last D&D session the party had to fight a snake person with mind control powers who compelled Ozzie to attack the cleric we'd come to rescue.

Lucky for the cleric, Ozzie would literally die before anyone else told her what to do.  She took an ass ton of psychic damage while flipping the double bird instead.

The Child

My pal's character in D&D, Pippah the kender rogue.  Kenders are basically halflings and Pippah has to constantly remind everyone that she is, in fact, an adult.

Lately I've been getting more into Elder Scrolls and particularly playing Morrowind again has brought back a ton of memories of the characters I used to play.  Osprey was a gentleman thief who never did any fighting because I was scared shitless of every single enemy in the game (but she was real good at jumping), and I think Southwest was a werewolf? idk

Jo'nari is my pal's character in Elder Scrolls Online and we decided that she probably brings my character pieces of animals she kills ...

Newest batch of visual development for my gross gnoll kid, Ozzie.  These are more or less chronological, with the "final" version at the bottom of the page.  I wasn't happy with her design for a while and couldn't pinpoint why, then it hit me: she's a teenager with unpredictable fire magic.  She needs to be way more embarrassingly edgy.

I found these in my photoshop folder.  I think they're from last year sometime, the product of my attempt at making some goofy sparkledog designs.  Or I guess one design with two color schemes because I couldn't decide between them.  Blep.

The ranger in our D&D group, Bowie, had a real rough night during our first session.  He successfully hit one target with his bow: my sorcerer, who had the misfortune of standing too close to the person Bowie was aiming for.
