Just when I think that Frieren can't surprise me any more, that it's going to be chill the whole way through - THIS episode happens! Combining character growth, offering surprises, and having threads of fate connecting in ways I could NOT have imagined!

This series is just better and better, and somehow takes the most mundane act: A practice match - and turned it into one of the most visually striking moments of the series so far!

This definitely felt like it COULD conclude the series, but at the same time opened SO many doors for possibilities with where the show could go! And I'm SO glad I still have a movie left to go! I'm not ready to end this show!
This finale had everything I could want while STILL leaving mystery and plot to be hopefully addressed in the "Providence" movie -- I cannot WAIT to find out!

This episode has SO MUCH in it and establishes why this show is SUCH a powerhouse! Humor, intrigue, and of course -- DRAMA!
Rei has a chance encounter with the mysterious Souya and meanwhile, has to deal with drama from his foster family...but this episode, while it rouses the fire in me -- helps to make for a VERY complicated web of human relations!

To be honest with you all, I haven’t settled down and watched anything outside of my channel’s shows in YEARS with the exception of RuPaul’s Drag Race and The Great British Baking Show – mainly, because I haven’t had the energy for the investment. But, I had several recommendations for Fallout (including my gaming brother), and it was only 8 episodes, so I wanted to give it a whirl!
