The preparations for the festival are underway, but Mitsumi finds herself biting off more than she can chew with the planning and it's interestingly enough up to Shima to help bring her out of her funk!
This episode was SO adorable and my heart could not be more fonder for Sousuke and Mitsumi as they both help each other...Mitsumi proves she's "dazzling" and can bounce back...can she help Shima bounce forward? The festival is LITERALLY right...

Ohhhh, this series is making me love Shen Qian Qiu MORE AND MORE! He's such a diva, thinks he's super smart, and despite having a secret soft heart....he's SO OBLIVIOUS in so many ways!
We get new characters, time skips, unintentional flirting, and battles in a short span of time and these episodes...they're just not long enough! I love them so much, though!

This volume was...INSANE...just like Volume 10, we're going "off script" from the 1997 anime and in the WYLDEST way! Wyld is...disgusting, but that's intentional I am SURE. The first half of this episode was adorable zoo shenanigans with Egashira meeting an unexpected "ally" and like-minded spirit! However, the second half was a juxtaposition of a wholesome sleepover at Mitsumi's with Shima going through the wringer as the guilt of his past takes human form!
