If I hadn't read the manga at this point, I would have been SOBBING in this episode, but even still -- the events nearly drew tears! My heart went OUT to our Class 1A, trying to help Deku realize it's OKAY to rely and walk alongside other heroes...

OH, y'all, this season ISN'T PLAYING! This episode had me on the edge of my seat and SO NERVOUS throughout, as things get creepier and creepier with all of Salt City slowly getting brainwashed by "The Founder" of the Psycho Helmet religion...are Mob and Teru the only ones resisting? The end of this episode was SUCH a cliffhanger!

I wasn't sure how this con and the tension between Abbie and Lewis would get resolved, but as per usual, The Great Pretender is full of surprises!
The twists and turns in this episode were a LOT of fun, and two things are for certain: Makoto has a heart of gold, and Laurent is always THREE steps ahead of everyone else when it comes to a con! This was a great episode!
