Well, this show gets better and better and this is my favorite episode so far! I absolutely LOVED the development and backstory we get with Rei, our quiet, gloomy man with apparently...a child's heart! His journey in this episode and development with Miri was BEAUTIFUL!
And we get more breadcrumbs thrown at us for Kazuki as well, as he works to track down Miri's mother. This episode had my heart; I love these PAPAS!

Oh, I LOVED this episode! Thorfinn not only gets proven that he physically strives to live a la Snake, but Einar manages to mentally prove to him that life IS worth living because of the sacrifices of those before us!
It's a beautiful episode that gives us SO many parallels, character development, and builds the relationship between these two men pushed to the brink! Lots of fun things to talk about!

WELL, even prepared, I still ended up teary-eyed at this episode and Toya's backstory. Abuse is such a delicate subject and placing it in this battle shonen is a bold decision, but the events of this episode are a true tragedy and the voice acting and score REALLY made these moments all the more palpable...and heartbreaking.
Probably one of the strongest episodes of the season, even if it's the most tragic so far. I feel for Rei, for Toya...

SURPRISE! So, THIS is an interesting premise as we start this episode off with two hitmen, one little girl, and a LOAD of mysteries and set up all centered around Christmas! This show was surprisingly adult, darkly hilarious, and has some touching character set up that I'm VERY intrigued by! I'm going to be curious to see what this show gives us!
