Hisanobu is the focus this volume, as he and his father come to terms with their 8-year absence from one another. I'm quickly becoming obsessed with Hisanobu's struggle to move forward and I find myself just wanting the best for him, despite his arrogance.
And then we have Nomiya and Togawa, both trying to find the path that fits their future best...but both struggling with snags along the way. It's getting complicated, dark, and interesting, y'all!

How did we get here? The Free! journey isn't finished yet (we still have a movie next week and two more later this year and in 2022), but the culmination of Free! Dive to the Future is here, and this episode was WONDERFUL.
It doesn't feel like the end of a series, and I'm happy about that.
