Since my desktop broke down that could run RPG maker MV and my laptop can't, I'm trying to make a remaster of Esthe Hunter with updated graphics and some of the new mechanics by using RPG maker VX Ace.

Unfortunately, it won't be compatible with Mac computers.

I did the shading. 

I've learned that it is important to plan out where the shadows are going to go ahead of time

What I did here was simply draw the shadows for each and every frame like I did with the lineart.

This requires more experimentation. . . .

Ai animation Flats

I was dissatisfied with how the lineart was in the first one. The lines weren't uniform because I was copy/pasta-ing the lineart from the previous frame and readjusting the position of the moving parts.

This time I just used a marker pen brush for the lineart.

Again, shading is going to be quite experimental as I try to play this by ear. 

More Ai Animation. . .

Still getting the hang of this.

The hard part is coloring the shading, it needs its own set of layers to plan where the shadows are going to go

I'm still trying to get that down.

Sugarskin Scramble: Erika

This here be part of a sadistic gameshow in which the contestant Erika is wearing a Sugarskin, a full body latex suit that melts on contact with moisture.

Erika is put in a maze-like obstacle course filled with twists and turns as she tries to find the exit. 

But wrong turns means a penalty which will slow things down for our heroine.

Here, she has made a wrong turn into a hall of misting humidifiers which in turn melt her sugar skin. Things aren't only getting sticky for her ...

Game Over Concept sketches

First on top is Chie getting webbed up by the silkworm. She'll be abandoned in the middle of the woods where it will be easy pickings for anything that might want to prey on her. . .

On the lower left is the Oozie's Surface tension type of graphic. Trapped beneath its surface Chie tries to push her way out but the Oozie's flesh is too elastic and sticky to allow her to escape, if she doesn't escape soon, she'll run out of air.

Slime defeat scene

I'm cooking up some rough sketches for the overworld sprites for Chie's Slimed "Game Over" Scene. The scene that plays whenever Chie loses to the Oozes. Which do you think is the most appealing?

Overworld sprites can be loopable while the dialog verbally illustrates the scene.

HD Static pictures take up most of the screen but are a lot more detailed. 

Pecil is a Futa. . .should this be implemented in Butterfly Effect?

Yes, Pecil has both a Vagina AND a Penis now. This means there may be some on the job sexual harassment between Chie and Pecil in the game.

I've come across a plugin that will allow me to add as many frames as I want to overworld walking sprites to give Chie a much more smoother look whenever she walks.

In the previous version (Esthe Hunter) when Chie would be defeated by the special mobs that triggered a Special Game Over scene, I used walking sprites to make a very simple animated sprites if you can remember.

By using this technique Chie's overworld sprite will be slimed, webbed, vored, and it is even possible to create a ...

Pecil Basic Sprite.

Pecil is an NPC character so there isn't much for her to be animating ATM.

She's the one who gives the assignments (quests) to find and capture the monsters for the Spa treatments

Also, behind closed doors, she's the one who truly tames and trains the monsters so they'll be the ones who administer the spa treatments in lieu of human staff. . .which she'd have to pay, and doesn't want to. . .

Because monsters don't have human rights.

Silken Mask Spa treatment WIP
