Local Day Trip

It's so much fun to play tourist in Las Vegas. It's even better when there is a bit of competition! After some fun & games, a relaxing drive through the 13 mile Red Rock loop is the perfect escape from the city with some pretty amazing views. I even saw climbers scaling one of the mountains. So cool!

Monday Motivation

For my US friends, Monday after a long Thanksgiving weekend is very tough. We could all use a little more help this morning!

Wednesday Wild Thing

This past weekend I got to spend a couple of days on the mountain. I can't tell you how excited I was, especially since it was a great warm-up to a trip I have planned a little later. The snow and weather were absolutely perfect.

Stay here and avoid all that silly traffic. I promise there won't be any jams and or stress. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I managed to make it down the mountain unscathed, but a little sore from all those curves and edges. 😉 

Pre-process

These photos seem so self-indulgent, but what I was actually doing is taking photos to see how my hair turned out. You have to love the efficiency of this. A lot of times the camera sees my hair much differently from the way it looks in the mirror. Lighting is certainly everything too.

Monday traffic...

I just got back from a quick weekend in California and that drive always leaves one with that dazed and confused feeling. SO much construction and traffic makes me appreciate Las Vegas. It was a good weekend with family and some of my favorite food. A little champagne and wine never hurt either with beautiful weather.
