Deep trenches run through these landscapes of war. It is meant to be reminiscent of the trenches of the First World War. One map also has variants with a green sanctuary, which stands untouched by the fighting in the middle. Many scenarios can be imagined here for the reason for the untouchedness and ways in which heroes could still get in.
There is also a small crystal hall, which as a variant also shows the shadows of trapped entities.
