I had a ton of fun with this one! It was definately a good, loose way for me to get back in the swing of things. I might let myself draw more loose scenes like this in the future as a way to try out new things!

I may keep this one on the messier side because I'm enjoying the new things Im trying with it. I tend not to experiment as much as I ought to.

Finally after like a week of troubleshooting and support calls w/ wacom it is confirmed my Pen's sensor is broken. They are sending me a new pen free of charge, however; as of right now I am unsure on the wait time.
In the meantime I am sorry to say I've tried forcing myself to draw something with this pen and it is completely untenable with the brush strokes constantly skipping and I will get nowhere trying to force something out at this time....

I started this design before my tablet started misbehaving, this is just character concepts not the actual sketch for the piece itself. Just wanted to provide you all with some progress in the meantime!

I'm letting you all know there is a bit of a delay with the Poll Winner/Monthly Illustration because my cintiq is giving me huge sporadic pen skips that I cant seem to remedy with any driver reinstallation or the usual fixes. My current theory is my pen is busted. I'm waiting for Wacom to review my diagnostic logs and get back to me.
If worst comes to worst I will put up with it and try my best to get these pieces out before the end of the month so don't worry on that fron...
