Samples x Presets Pack 06 🎛

Hey everyone, hope you had a great weekend!

September pack is finally here :) This month I'm sharing with you pads and arpeggios I recorded in the studio using Juno Alpha 1 x Alesis Quadraverb. It has quite distinct noise in one of the channels (not sure if something is wrong with the synth or it's a chorus problem) but I kinda like it, gives it some vintage/lo-fi vibe.

Also, there are some breaks from my & Nuage's breakbeat project called Shirax + some minimal snares, kicks & one-shots. And of course more basses (as you constantly asking for them :) and pads for Serum & Massive.

Samples x Presets Pack 05 🥌

Yoo, huge apologies for delivering this one so late 🐸 every time I sit down to render some samples for you I end up making new sketches :)

You asked for bass patches - here you go, 10 presets for Serum, Massive & Pigments. 

Talking with you in DM, I know some of you have struggled lately to get into the flow state and find inspiration, I've made a couple of 'song starters' for you (melodies, chords, arps) to get you going right after you open the DAW. Feel free to use them as you like, even unprocessed is totally fine.

Also, some of you asked for TOP-loops and one-shots, so I've rendered some for you from my latest sketches and songs, hope you enjoy them.

Patreon Exclusive 05: Bop 'Revealing a Secret'👂

The August exclusive tune is finally here! First of all, thank you very much for supporting me, I literally wouldn't make this song without you. I started this one a couple of streams ago and thought that it would be nice to finish something fresh instead of just sharing another bootleg (I saved it for another time tho :)

I've also got my hands on an SSL BiG SiX mixer (big ups to Jack Lever) and had fun mixing this tune on it, really love how warm the final version turned out. Again, sounds very autonomic-inspired, nothing too fancy, but was really lovely to just go with the flow and enjoy the process. Lmk your thoughts on the tune. 

btw Most of the presets used in the track can be found on my preset-packs from the previous months.

Samples x Presets / pack #4 🤖

This month I've got my hands on Elektron Analog Rytm and used it for this month's samples. As for presets - this time lot more Serum IDM-ish floating sad emo synths and leads, as well as some Massive ones and the bassline from 'Surfing The Anxiety Waves' which I forgot to upload the last time 0:)

STEMS: Community Collab 🎺

So here are the stems for our sketch I started with you on the last stream. What we do next:

- you add your elements/melodies/whatever above the stems

- you can make not only the 'drop' part but also an intro, a breakdown or an outro

- feel free to experiment and try different things, but keep in mind that I will try to make a tune out of everyone's versions, so maybe keep the amount of track below 1000 :D

- then send me the parts you've made/changed and your pre-'final' result so I can get your idea

And at the next stream, I'll try to make one tune out of it online under your guidance.

Stream #4: Community Collab / 27.07.2023 🎟

Hi Patrons!

The next stream is this Thursday 27th July at 18:00 UTC (19:00 BST). You voted for the community collab so we’re doing it! 🤹

This is how I see it: you can send me sample(s) made by you before this Thursday and I’ll be working on a sketch using them during the stream. I’ll share the stems after the stream so everyone will be able to download them & add his own parts over it. Next month we’ll combine all the parts into one final tune on the fifth stream. Does that sound alright?

If so, send me links to your samples in the comments or in DM, and if you have any ideas or suggestions - feel free to comment below.

This month's exclusive is my UKG bootleg on Madonna's 'What It Feels Like For a Girl'.

The mad thing about the original - the version used in the official music video has never been released! And it's my favourite version, I remember watching it on MTV  when I was 11-12 yo and thinking 'that's siiick'. So in this bootleg, I had to mix a couple of versions to make it right. At the end, I've got this 4x4 nostalgic dancefloor heater.

10% of this month's Patreon profit will be donated to Nasiliu.net, an organization dealing with the problem of domestic violence in my home country, Russia.
