Just a quick update on page 3 of the Initiation.
Got the layouts figured out, and thanks to the new tablet was able to throw in some rough tones into it.
Now to clean it up and make it look pretty!

This one is more behind the scenes,
Last month I FINALLY upgraded to a drawing tablet.
Yes, that's right. All this time I've been using a stylus.
If anything, my hand eye coordination got really good. LOL
Its certainly been an adjustment for the better.
And I also invested in a Photoshop specific keyboard that has backlit buttons, because most of the time I'm sitting in the dark.

The color for page 2 is FINALLY finished!
This was another heavy layer sessions doing the color.
But I think the final turned out rather well.
The tone I was going for was an Eyes Wide Shut look.
Lots of shadows and making it look mysterious.

Just wanted to give you an update on the progress of the Initiation comic.
About half way down the page. I just got a new drawing tablet, which has given me the ability to skip working on paper. And be able to jump into color a lot faster than before.
So the first three panels are finished, the rest are still scribbles, but get the overall idea of the staging for the scenes. Just some behind the scenes stuff.

Well this is the reason I'm behind on everything else.
GOOD LORD this was complicated as fuck! LOL
Last count, this had 650 layers in Photoshop, give or take 10 layers.
But its finished, now going to hop back on the other projects while I give my self a rest from this.
I knew this page was going to be a bitch, just glad I got through it. :D
And on a side note, yup I upgraded to a drawing tablet. So far so good.
