When press R or run out of bullets, a reloading animation will be played. We plan to make different reloading time for different guns.

Preparation Phase

Preparation Phase Menu added.
As is shown, there would be a preparation phase where you can check the status, change equipment and select the next level.

So we start the new character and controls.
Keyboard? No! Keyboard and Mouse! Yes!
The first option is to use only the keyboard, like CONTRA or METAL SLUG. 8-shooting directions or so. 5 direction images needed for standing shoot, and running shoot the same...Many arts needed.
But thanks for Spine 2D, it works well with pixel art too. And now we have the second choice. with the upper and lower body run separately, we get more shooting directions and step back shooting ...

New H anime
It is more complex to make the anime than the previous work which only needs 4~6 frames. But as the standard pose coming out, it will be easier to do it.

As than chain to be the weapon, it is easy to come up with the grasping skills. Catch the enemy, and throw back and forth, sounds cool. Consider the different size of monsters, we can move the small one, and pull close to the big one and give a kick.
I haven't made some thing like the grasping skill before, it need to involve two objects, but I will try it.

Get some different inspirations
There are some different ideas from the previous one.
We decide to get rid of the pixel style game scenes, instead with the Spine 2D animations.
We took a lot time making the pixel actions for DancingReaper, But still have a gap with what we expect, like cloth change or something another. And as we take more time looking at the features of Unity, it seems that higher quality of textures will perform better.
But it is still a hard work to make a good animation on Spine,...
