I dabbled a bit on the rework of the BIO, mostly re-rendering the girls' portraits to match the quality of CH4. The example below showing off Zoe, also comparing her re-work softening up those harsh creases her old model had. And more importantly, recreating her smile to a more appealing one. Good morning!

Another productive week. I'm glad you guys enjoyed the new main menu track. It's nice to have something that's yours to use freely. The whole track starts subtle and becomes more dramatic, which should set the tone of what the entirety of this story will be. And with the conclusion of Chapter 4, it'd be interesting to see what speculations would be on how the story will unfold for the remaining 12 chapters. So I am excited to get CH4 out the door as quickly as I'm able to....

'Morning everyone!

My other composer completed the new main menu track. I asked him to add subtle bits of   sci-fi to the track and I think he nailed it. I plan to work with a few composers. One who will be working on the main score and the other who I featured last week who will work on DJ Kink's tracks.

I also added a new piece of software to my workflow, which is Substance Painter. This basically allows me to texture a model directly Artemis' model uses shells to text...

Good mornin'!

My composer came back this week with the song that will be swapped out in Chapter 2 during DJ Kink's live show. He provided me with all the stems as well so I can do some tweaks to the final track. But I provided the intro of the song to this post so you guys can get a preview. It's got a techno/guitar thing going on and after a few tweaks, I'll be fully satisfied with it.

Good mornin' all!

Just a quick update on the music front. Even though I've got a solution for my situation, I still made attempts to look into alternative solutions. I thought I was onto something but turns out the sales rep was a bit quick on the draw. They mentioned along the lines of as long as it wasn't depicting real people it would be fine. And my reaction was "Oh, really?". Then after setting up a meeting, she had a chat with their legal dept and I got this reply :)

This week was a fun one. I've been searching for a 3D model for a certain character and finally found one I thought was fitting. I got done texturing it and transferred over a rig to it. Fortunately it doesn't require any morphs or expression rigging, so the rigging has been going very well. I put it aside for now, since I haven't got to the scene where I'll be using it yet. Mornin' everyone!

I continued to stay focused on story renders mostly. I also went through the script again and made some minor revisions. Did some work on the models as well, no changes to the models themselves. But one of the assets used for the breast was causing some issues with the textures and UV maps. So I had to drop them in Photoshop to do a little nip and tuck where the UV maps were causing issues. The final results look a lot better for one character who really needed the fix...

Artemis One Year Anniversary!

I love crossovers in any medium where it makes sense. Though I've read on dev forums and seen some readers say we only do this for marketing and nothing more. Good morning, everyone! Very happy to say that I was able to decorate the INK's Halloween venue fully. Still need to create art for the banners that overhang the mansion, but I'll be working on those as I get inspired. The biggest thing was to get all the props and lighting just right. Good morning!

Another busy week as I've had my hands in a bit of everything. Chapter 4 is going to be a significant chapter. With Kindra's reveal in CH3, we'll see the main arc begin its next stage. And some sub arcs resolve. Chapters 1-4 will make up Book 1 of Artemis. Book 1 is where I'll be making Artemis available for Steam. Book two will be its next release as DLC and so forth.
