Poll #418 - February Spell-Themed Adventure Title

Hey everyone!

The artists and I are currently cooking up the design for this month's adventure, PHANTASMAL KILLER, which I decided would be cool if it was set in a Regency-Period Venice type setting.

While I'm planning that out and working on it, I need to get Matias working on another piece of artwork for next month's spell-themed adventure.

Below are your choices. Pick the one you like best.

[Adventure Backers] Dungeon24 - Mistfall: The Vanishing of Ostenwold 13 and 14/366 (The Sanguine Dawn Inn, Complete)

This post is part of the Dungeon24 series, where I create a new room every day of the year for at total of 366 rooms. Traditionally, this is done as a dungeon, but I thought it was more interesting to do it as a Silent-Hill-inspired city. Tom Cartos and I have been chatting about doing an Ostenwold product for a long time, so I figured this made the most sense.

This document includes all areas of The Sanguine Dawn Inn, comprising parts 1-14 of Dungeon24.

Can You See Them? is LIVE on Backerkit

Hey everyone!

If you didn't already know, Can You See Them? is the latest entry in our Horror lineup. It's a terrifying tale of Biblical Revelations, Lovecraftian horrors, and midwestern gothic aesthetic. It runs with the Year Zero Engine, the same rules used for the Alien RPG and The Walking Dead RPG.

Back the campaign, now! ...

Poll 417 - January Adventure Title and Plot

Hey all!

Since we’re overwhelmingly getting “one big adventure per month” as the desired format, I figured I’d put a poll together for that adventure’s title and plot. I kinda dig my old “adventure named after a spell” naming convention I toyed with in the past and may return to that.

Without further ado…

A group of warlocks has mistakenly unleashed a horde of Dretch from the Abyss. The adventurers must find a way to banish t...

Poll 416 - Less is more?

Hey all!

Dungeon24 is my major project this year, but really doesn’t eat up too much time. However, now that we’ve hit nearly 1,000 PDFs here, I’m wondering… should we reduce our output, focusing on story-driven, medium-length adventures instead of shorter weekly releases?

Here is what I’m thinking:

1) One major adventure per month, accessible to all aventure subscribers.

2) Foundry subs still get Foundry packs.

3) Gold subs get a physical copy (just th...

Preview - Iron Desert Cover Mock-up

Hey all!

I threw this little puppy together based on the current poll. Okay, okay... I know the Shattered Empires one was winning, but let's face it—that's been done. Plus, I can roll that theme into this a bit.

I just wanted to do something a little outside the comfort zone. Furthermore, this won't be the usual "Mad Max with swords" kinda setting. I hope to do something a little original with it. Although the main goal this year is to keep going with Dungeon24 (I've been on a S...

Poll #415 - Let's make a DCC world!

Hey all!

I'm working on some DCC (with 5e conversions obvs) style content that's in line with some of my trap/puzzle-heavy dungeons like Trapped Tomb, Kirin-Born Prince, and Emperor of Bones. Since Aereth is Goodman Games' IP, I figured I'd make my own nutty world to host these adventures.

I've got a few concepts below that I think are cool. Vote for the one you like best, and I'll take it from there.

[Free] Dungeon24 - Mistfall: The Vanishing of Ostenwold 1/366 (The Sanguine Dawn Inn, Lower Floor, Area 1)

For generations, Ostenwold was a humble smattering of homes and farms along the river Ost, a quiet, peaceful hamlet with little connection to the outside world. Thirty years ago, two retired adventurers, the human Horst Blackfoot, and the elf Déulara Tauranis, chose to settle down and spend their hard-earned gold on building The Sanguine Dawn Inn. At the time, this was the only safe resting place for travelers on the long march between civilized areas, and soon became a regular stopover for ...

Dungeon24 Part 1/366 - Hollow Creek Description

Hollow Creek, enshrouded in an unrelenting, thick fog, harbors an unsettling stillness. Its streets, often empty, are lined with buildings that wear the patina of age and neglect. The fog seems almost sentient, twisting and coiling around the town's eerie landmarks—a dilapidated asylum standing sentinel on its outskirts, its history shrouded in whispered rumors of malpractice and despair. Nearby, an old hotel looms, its once grand halls now silent, save for the occasional creak of decaying ...

Poll #414 - Reviving Old Adventures for VHS Versions

Hey peeps!

This year, we're going to be creating VHS editions of most of popular adventures and selling them at conventions and through our webstore. We'll be doing Shrine of the Emperor of Bones and Glaive of the Revenant King, two of our most popular non-Dungeons & Lairs adventures.

But what other adventures should we reformat?

In the midst of an ancient graveyard, the Temple of the Grave stands as a solemn tribute to those who have battled the undead. Presided over by the vigilant siblings, Samson and Deandra Grimfate, this sacred ground honors the memory and valor of fallen undead hunters. The temple is distinguished by the Grand Mausoleum, within which rests the sarcophagus of "The Unknown Hunter," a symbol of all unacknowledged heroes who fell in their noble pursuit. Beneath the mausoleum lies a vast, non-euclid...
