Hey all!
I'm adding in another (yes, I know UGH) reboot of the Neverending Dungeon this month, this time with a little more thought into the process. I'm using Tim Hartin's maps and including one per month as part of BSM. These will be available to Copper+ patrons. We will also have the tiles up on Roll20 almost as soon as they release.
The very first map will be the one pictured above.
Here's what I need from all of you: a single word prompt 2020-08-18 16:27:34 +0000 UTC View Post

Scourge of the jötunn who roam the icy plains of northern Omeria, the etunaz are a subterranean breed of malicious giants who haunt the glaciers beyond the frostline. The process for turning humanoids into vampires does not always result in a vampire spawn. Sometimes, the subject is too weak-willed to return from the grave as a full vampire. These creatures return as vampire wretches, lesser vampires, whose thirst for blood overwhelm their senses. Often, vampire wretches are destroyed immediately by the vampires who created them. There are times, however, where the wretch's creator takes pity on the creature and allows it to live as a pet.
Four mighty elements bind the universe and The Real: air, earth, fire, and water. As an elemental warlock, you derive your powers from a creature of the elements such as an elder elemental, genie or possibly one of the elemental princes. This connection imbues you with the ability to bend the chosen element to your will.

Trapfoots are white-haired rabbit-humanoid hybrids commonly found in arctic climates. They live in small tribal groups called clusters. Viewed as "lesser" by many of the larger humanoid races and giants that live near them, these clusters frequently find themselves under the rule of powerful, non-trapfoot creatures who bully them into obeisance. Trapfoots who break free of these tyrannical tethers often prefer to spend the remainder of their lives away from other humanoid cultures, fearful fo...

A good pal of myself and, well, basically everyone that works at DMDave has a Kickstarter that just went live. No obligation, of course, and it's not really 5e/D&D related. But Lucas is a good friend and a helluva talent, so I'd be a bunghole if I didn't share his work with all of you. Plus, it looks pretty awesome (I backed it).

Now that I've knocked out the Tier 1 and 2 variants for the "old wolf den" map, Vines and Thrown to the Wolves respectively, it's time to get suggestions for the tier 3 version of the map. Tier 3, if you didn't know, are for characters levels 11 to 16—the big times.
Again, I've tossed out a few suggestions below. Of course, you're free to suggest some good ones, too, in the comments below.

These carnivorous plants are found in warm, wet climates around the world. The decipula uses its long vines to hunt for prey. Once the vine grapples a creature, it pulls the creature back to its lair where it slowly digests the creature within its leafy maw.
Edit: changed some of the vines' stat block.
