Neverending Dungeon Prompts

Hey all!

I'm adding in another (yes, I know UGH) reboot of the Neverending Dungeon this month, this time with a little more thought into the process. I'm using Tim Hartin's maps and including one per month as part of BSM. These will be available to Copper+ patrons. We will also have the tiles up on Roll20 almost as soon as they release.

The very first map will be the one pictured above.

Here's what I need from all of you: a single word prompt View Post

[366 Days of Monsters] Day 165/366 - Vampire Wretch

The process for turning humanoids into vampires does not always result in a vampire spawn. Sometimes, the subject is too weak-willed to return from the grave as a full vampire. These creatures return as vampire wretches, lesser vampires, whose thirst for blood overwhelm their senses. Often, vampire wretches are destroyed immediately by the vampires who created them. There are times, however, where the wretch's creator takes pity on the creature and allows it to live as a pet.

[366 Days of Monsters] Day 162/366 - Trapfoot

Trapfoots are white-haired rabbit-humanoid hybrids commonly found in arctic climates. They live in small tribal groups called clusters. Viewed as "lesser" by many of the larger humanoid races and giants that live near them, these clusters frequently find themselves under the rule of powerful, non-trapfoot creatures who bully them into obeisance. Trapfoots who break free of these tyrannical tethers often prefer to spend the remainder of their lives away from other humanoid cultures, fearful fo...

But Lucas is a good friend and a helluva talent, so I'd be a bunghole if I didn't share his work with all of you. Plus, it looks pretty awesome (I backed it).

[Call for Suggestions] Monsters

Hey all!

I could use a few ideas for monsters to make. Typical rules apply:

  • No intellectual property (ie, no Marvel superheroes, TV characters, etc.)
  • No anime (just a personal preference... sorry)
  • No D&D monsters that aren't in the SRD (as much as I'd like to make variants of beholders, kuo-toa, etc. I can't)

I've got about 40-50 monsters to catch up with and I'm going to try to bang out as many as I can for the end of July.
