Tremor is a 25-foot-tall bear that dominates the Wallingmiotta. While many believe Tremor is one of the Great Titans, this is untrue. Tremor was created spontaneously through fey magic. He now acts as the ultimate protector of the forest. Tremor does not move through the Wallingmiotta quietly. He can be spotted or heard from 300 feet away as he crashes through the trees and underbrush. Any creatures he sees as hostile towards the forest he attacks and fights until killed.
When he is not...

A near-fatal crash. A mysterious forest filled with dangerous creatures. A machine deadset on the destruction of anyone who has come into contact with a mysterious unreadable book. A long-lost wizard. This is the setting for Chapter 5 of the Hand of the Eight adventure path, Wallingmiotta. Having just escaped from the town of Orbea, the characters must find the reclusive illusionist, Aruxius, in order to understand the contents of the book Prime. To do so they must search th...

The campaign setting where the Hand of the Eight takes place, tentatively titled Omeria, has many of the classic fantasy races present within its world. And while the world of Omeria is still expanding with its stories, these are the races that have been introduced in the setting so far. This guide identifies how they fit into the world and how players can use them to interact with the setting. Of course, you and your players are free to interpret the races of Fifth Edition any way y...

Hey all!
You may have noticed that I've created a spin-off adventure for Chapter 3. To "beef up" the adventures, these spin-offs offer experience and rewards outside of the main arc. And while they act as supplements to the story, they are not required playing for the Hand of the Eight story path.
In the latest chapter (out some time today) I mention a few more of these spin-off adventures.
Likely, I'll complete another one tonight. Without too much detail, which adventureâ€...

Hey all!
A few folks have asked about BroadSword #2. It's shipping this week. You should have received a notification on the 14th for it. If you didn't, send me a direct message on here or on Discord.
Logistics have slowed down a little because of the holidays and another Chinese holiday in October. So you know, if you are "locked in" for a book at the end of the month, even if you leave or downgrade, you will still receive a copy of the book for that month.
In months where ...

Hey all,
Working on Chapter 5 this weekend. I spent most of last night cooking up a new map for the adventure, so I thought I'd go ahead and share what I have.
Look for it tomorrow morning.

Someone is kidnapping krigs, the spider-humanoid natives of Orbea. Despite their off-putting appearance, krigs are generally passive, intelligent creatures who've helped bring many of the Weysevain Coast’s cities into the modern era of arc-technology. What would make someone or something attack the krigs? In this spin-off one-shot adventure, a group of adventurers are tasked to learn exactly that.

Hey all,
Quick announcement. After, like... a decade, Patreon has finally created a pin feature. So the archive is now stuck to the top of the post. If you are a Silver+ member, this is a huge benefit. All you need to do is log on, click Posts, and bam: there's the archive.
Speaking of Silver+, expect Buckler (both forms) hopefully today.
Thanks!

Good morning, folks. Here are the supplements for Hand of the Eight B. I'm still formatting the Stone Arm Granite Nine so I'll add that in later today.
For now, here is the Peregrine-class Flyer by Miska's Maps and the Remote Traveler Alpha-Class.

The next adventure will take place in the untamed wilderness of the Wallingmiotta. As such, I’ll need some ideas for magical creatures living in the forest.

Orbea, the Maze-like home of the krig, was the last place that the gnome scholar Valcryn Vorpos was seen alive. Supposedly, he knows the secret of the mysterious, unreadable book called Prime and why so many are interested in getting their hands on it. Of course, the characters won't be the only ones looking for Vorpos and the book. A vast conspiracy begins to unfold in this fourth chapter of the Hand of the Eight adventure path, The Secret of the Book.

I'll be putting the finishing touches on Hot8 Chapter 4 this evening. Do you want me to release it once it's done, or do you want me to release it in the morning?

Hey all,
Just a quick announcement. Chapter 4 is drafted and will be out later today, hopefully before the early afternoon. I have to take my son to the doctor so I won't be back until 10 am. From there, I've got to focus on day job stuff.
Until then, I'll probably cook up a quick subclass for everyone to enjoy while I finish formatting chapter 4 (it's about 30-pages long).
In the meantime, what Omerian subclass would you like to see? Prefer...

The first 3rd-level adventure wrapped up pretty nicely. On to the second 3rd-level adventure!
I have a rough idea what I want to happen in it, but I haven't decided where I want it to take place so far.
I've included the latest map for reference.

One of the most notorious criminals ever to be interred in Castlegrasp's dungeon has escaped, leaving almost no trace behind. A powerful, authoritarian noble has placed one of the largest bounties ever seen on the man's head: 20,000 gold pieces dead or alive. This incredible sum draws adventurers, rangers, and bounty hunters from all corners of Omeria. And the race is on. Of course, those who seek to collect the reward aren't the only ones hunting the escaped prisoner. A dark being known only...

Hey all!
Hopefully, you've had a chance to read a little bit of Chapter 3. Tonight, I'll be finishing it up and posting it tomorrow, then working through the weekend to get the other chapters out (been a little behind 'cause of life).
Anyways, ol' Mega is on the loose and headed north. But which route did he take? Without a hat of a disguise and a nasty bird man on his trail, he doesn't have a lot of options.
I've included the map below for reference.

Krigs are spider-humanoids that originate from the Weysevain Maze and, by extension, the town of Orbea in Central Omeria. Intelligent and clever, thanks mostly to their connection to their diety-progenitor, the Matriarch, and all other krig, the krigs quickly positioned themselves as assets throughout most of the continent. Their overall numbers are much lower than the other major humanoid races of Omeria, and it's rare to find one more than 1,000 miles from the Maze at Orbea. While there are...

Castlesgrasp was founded upon a granite quarry two hundred years ago. Today, the granite stones pulled from the quarry make up much of the city's walls, buildings, and even the Violet Qsar. But the granite did not come free. Soon after the mine was opened, the earlier Castlegraspians discovered that the terrain was inhabited by earth elementals. The elementals' queen, a might dao named Gasta the Pure, confronted the Castlegraspians, questioning their presence in Central Omeria. The city's fou...

Castlegrasp, the City of Granite, is the last major city before the Desolation of Ditimaya and the Obsidian Plain cut off the rest of Omeria from the southern end of the continent. Ruled by Khan Hayyan Harrak XI (known by his people as 'Fair Eleven'), Castlegrasp keeps the peace thanks to its strong military and strict, but just, laws.
Castlegrasp is home to some 12,000 humanoids, the majority of which are Ditimayan humans. Indestructible granite walls surround the whole of the city. Th...

Good morning!
Hope you've all enjoyed the Hand of the Eight so far. Tonight's tale involves bounty hunters.
But I need your help! In the comments below, give me some bounty hunter, ranger, and adventuring party concepts. You don't have to go into too much explanation, just a few sentences will do. So long as they aren't too crazy (or violate someone else's IP) they'll be included in tonight's chapter of the Hand of the Eight.
Looking forward to it!

The sea-faring orcs of the Odzedoz clan have grown more and more dangerous over the last few months. Just recently, the tribe attacked the fishing village of Haver during a hurricane. Now, comes word that the meddlesome orcs have captured a respected Castlegraspian noble's daughter. Led by the loathsome Mega the Brash, the orcs make their home on a 200-foot spire of rock off the coast of an island called the Ghost Holm. Of course, the orcs aren't the horrible things that live on the forg...

This evening, I'll be releasing the second part to the Hand of the Eight, which involves the characters being super sneaky in an orc fortress.
However, I have no plan for where the story should go next. Assuming that the angle with the orcs totally wraps up in part 2 (you don't have to incorporate it), which angle should the plot take for Chapter 3?
Bonus: leave your ideas down in the comments.

Candis are dog-human hybrids that live throughout much of Omeria. Created through magical means two centuries past, the original canids were developed to guard temples, keeps, and other places of import. However, the canids were smarter and wiser than their creators expected and declared that there was more to their indentured existence.

Everyone who lives on the Weysevain Coast knows that the Odzedoz orcs live among the fog-swept ruins of the Ghost Holm. But rumors persist that some other dangerous creatures live there, too—something the orcs have been careful to avoid.
What is it? This quick survey ends in just three and a half hours.
