Quick note. Tonight I spent a little time balancing the levels for the Gods. Likely, I’ll go back and edit the subs, too.
But tonight I’m going to take a little break. See you in the AM with a fresh poll and look at our new factions.

To the western end of Wicked Maple Grove at the neck of Centaur Wood, there stood a great tower in a swamp. Not much was known about the tower or its purposes other than that it once served as a stronghold for a mysterious race of giant serpentfolk.
The medusan arcanist Gothmog of Udum recalls that the serpentfolk came from another plane of existence. They busied themselves with one important goal: the eradication of elemental evil in all its varied forms.
The xiphonan were massiv...

Hey all! Blackleaf Forest has been growing more each day. It's nuts to think that what started as the product of an algoritm on donjon.bin.sh has grown into something all its own.
Okay, so there are two factions so far in the Blackleaf Forest:
The Blackleaf Confederacy is a conglomeration of city-states ruled by a presidential council. Bygrove and the Sorcerous Town of Tamor (in the Drakecrags) are two of the settlements that make up the Confederacy. More will be ...

Hope everyone is having a great evening. Moving things along, I've created a brand new domain today for you godly folk:
The Forge Domain
The forge domain is all about technology, defense, and constructs (I changed Arcana's domain powers, by the way).
In addition, when you hit level 14, you can create a volcano capable of destroy...

I threw out the name "serpentmen" yesterday because, as some of you may know, a certain snake race from Fifth Edition's book-o'-monsters aren't allowed thanks to the OGL/SRD (aka, I don't want ot get sued). Therefore, I have to retheme them a little.
No worries, of course, becuase I loooove making monsters!
Anyways, since I need to reinvent the snake people, I thought I might change things up a bit and see what you all think they should be like in terms of personality and history....

Of course, not every part of the region west of the Drakecrags (known simply as "The Drakecrag Region") is untamed wilderness. In fact, there are two major humanoid settlements--well, three if you count Gorkil, but most Confederates wouldn't nor would the Gorkil Goblins themselves--in this region.
Once, there was third, but after "The Event" poor Creestone lies in ruin.
To the south at the cusp of the Eternal Shadow sits the unusual town of Tamor. One of the seven stars of t...

The green of the flag represents the Blackleaf Forest. The five lines are the roads that cross through Orlyggthorp (pronounced or-LEEG-eh-thorp), giving it its infamous moniker--the Great Crossroads. Of course, the five golden crowns are the five Merchant Kings themselves. Ironically, three of the Merchant Kings are actually women who gladly take on the title of "King." Not that any would oppose them. They are wealthy, deadly, and extremely hard-to-kill.
Thanks to the road-building effo...

Hey hey, gang! Good news. The Gods of Trickery can now enter Wandrossa, as I've completed the Trickery Godly Domain.
Trickery gods are all about amassasing wealth, betraying their allies, and creating powerul illusions. At high levels, they can create dens of villainy and even cast dreadful illusions upon an entire region.
Check 'em out: Gods of Wandrossa - Trickery Godly Domain...

Hey all! Just letting you know that the game will officially starts Monday, February 25, 2019 at 12am CST when I post the very first CTA. Between now and then I should have the remaining Godly Domains cooked up as well as the stats for all of the locations in Wicked Maple Grove. Chance are, we'll be opening up The Drakecrags shortly after that, too, so that'll be something else to look forward to.

I had the worst writer's block trying to come up with a poll idea this evening. So instead of wracking my brain any further, I decided to turn to a map of Wicked Maple Grove for ideas.

One cool area of interest that I really dig is the Ruined Tower of Gothmog of Udum. Other than its imposing name and that it's located at the center of Orcmoor Mire, we don't know a whole lot about this structure...

Here is the gazetteer, detailing everything that we've learned about Wandrossa, the Ninth Kingdom of Enombath, the Blackleaf Forest, Wicked Maple Grove, and, of course, they City of Bygrove.
It's crazy to think that we've created this much world in just a span of 12 days.
Enjoy!

Happy Sunday, folks. I'm working on putting out a new Gazetteer today. While writing it up, I got a wild hair and decided to create this nifty emblem representing the seven city-states of the Blackleaf Confederacy.
The tree in the center is the forest itself. It's on a black circle surrounded by a white border, representing the Eternal Eclipse. Each of the stars is one of the City States, and the phoenix icon at the bottom is, of course, for Enombath.
What do you guys think?

The votes are in. We know that there isn't a whole lot of civilized life in the region to the west of the Drakecrages (dubbed "The Drakecrag Region"). And there's at least one large--possibly gargantuan creature--who's the boss there.
The Blackleaf Forest, of course, is a cursed land. The body of Enombath the Phoenix is buried somewhere below it, and the sun is blotted out with one of Wandrossa's moons, keeping him from reviving. The Enombathonians say the end times are near.
What...

Hey all! Yesterday, I posted the first TASTE of Gods of Wandrossa godly domains with the Arcana domain. I plan on hammering a few more out this weekend.
Since you'll all be playing gods, which one of the 12 domains would you like to see get made next?
I've opened the polling up for multiple options. I'll make the domains in this order and we'll start generating Gods on Monday (I'll p...

I just love it when a plan comes together.
The dead god buried below the Blackleaf Forest is a God of Light, and I thought it appropriate to make it none other than Enombath, the God of Phoenixes. This adds to the trepidation his followers and phoenixkin have with it being the 9th Kingdom.
The end times are coming--or they could already be here.
Enombath is buried deep below the Blackleaf Forest. To keep his power in check, another powerful force shifted...

Hey everyone! Some awesome news. I just created the first Divine Domain for the Gods of Wandrossa.
Behold: The Arcana Domain. Also, I created 10 divine powers so you get to see how those work, too.
What's great is now that this is made I can balance all the other domains against it.
Look for Death to soon follow!

The expansion poll from yesterday is officially over and it's been decided: the Gods of Wandrossa will head to the Drakecrags once we hit 150 patrons on the site. Woohoo!
Question, is, though, what's happening in the Drakecrags?

We know that on the eastern side of the hilly pass is the Wicked Maple Grove region. We also know that the forest of Blackleaf tends towards evil. In fact, the Dr...

Morning everyone. I'm busily working on the Gods of Wandrossa (GoW) ruleset for those who are interested in it. It's moving along at a brisk pace, which is exciting, and it should hopefully be here by Monday.
When I was looking over the rules for godly realms, I realized that I hadn't really established the cosmology of Wandrossa. And, as usual, when I'm not sure a direction to go wi...

Hey everybody! I'm pretty excited to announce that I spent a bunch of time yesterday working up some more rules for the upcoming Gods of Wandrossa game. I'm hoping to start it Monday and I think I'm almost where I need to be.
First up is the actual "god class" itself, to give you an idea of how you level. I'm still making a few adjustments to it. Also, know that you start at different divine ranks depending on your current tier.

The polls are finished. Since the second poll was pretty close, I decided that fair is fair and the Dead God entry should be the one and only entry.
But that leaves the question. What sort of god was it that was buried below the Blackleaf forest whose essense now changes the land?
Below, I've entered in each of the 12 published Domains in Fifth Edition. Choose the one that you like best.
Everyone gets one vote. Poll ends tomorrow around this time.

While I'm building out the new rules for the Gods of Wandrossa game, I decided to add another goal before the Monster Manual goal. If we reach 150 patrons, we'll expand into another region of the Blackleaf Forest, probably one of the three adjacent hexes to the Wicked Maple Grove region that we're currently focused on. At the rate I've been gaining patrons, this will probably happen within the next week or so.
If you'd like to help us reach that goal faster, share this page with your fr...

The poll re: the reasons why Blackleaf had so much evil in it was fairly divided, with lots of great ideas coming in. The overall winner was the idea of a Dead God being buried below the forest; an earthquake cracked open its chamber, affecting the forest.
Second place was the permanent eclipse that cast a shadow on the land. Personally, I really liked this one. I even did a little research; it's scientifically possible for this to happen, just not on earth. But it would make the ...

We know that the cities of the Blackleaf Forest are a confederacy, which means each city-state has its own leader and that the city-states work towards a common good.
Bygrove is the largest settlement in the Wicked Maple Grove region of the Blackleaf Forest.
But who is its leader? Who is the one that resides in Draffin Keep?
I've used the charts from the DMG to pick the archetype for the leader, then added in ideals, bonds, and flaws.

Since we've been focusing on the Blackleaf Forest region of Enombath's Ninth Kingdom, we've learned a lot of interesting things.
For one, there's a lot of traditionally "evil" races that call this place their home. Goblins, bugbears, hobgoblins, medusas, vampir, weretigers, and even zombie-like creatures called cordies greatly outnumber the other humanoid races.
Also, we know that the leaves on the trees of the forest are totally black. But why?

Since this is a crowdsourced campaign world, one thing I didn't want to do is close off any particular element of the game by limiting technology, magic, or any other flavor. What I think is interesting is that the world of Wandrossa is big enough to cover multiple types of campaign settings, much in the same way that the default Fifth Edition campaign setting (its initials are "F.R.") does.
Keep in mind that right now we are currently looking at just a single hex of a single regi...
