Made a few more tweaks to the Conduit class per some suggestions on Reddit. I really enjoy this take on it, because it plays way more into the the "exploding with energy" theme.
Let me know what you think down in the comments.

Created in order to fill the ranks of the dragon armies of an evil sorceress, the generals of the dragon armies generally used draconians as shock troops. Draconians are hardly natural creatures. They were created from the eggs of metallic dragons using dark magic.
Typically, one corrupted dragon egg yields dozens of young draconians. Depending on the color of the egg, the draconian can be one of 5 types: auraks, baaz, bozak, kapak, and sivak.
Unlike dragonborn, draconians do...

This new spell comes as a request from one of the subscribers to the Forsaken Peak mailing list. It is based loosely on the mechanics of the old Silent Hill video game. Here is her description of how the spell should work:
I'm a huge Silent Hill fangirl. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the lore or any of the games/movies, but basically Silent Hill has 3 main planes of existence: fog world (everything is light gray scale, lots of fog, no enemies, spooky but mostly qui...

I made an adjustment on the conduit class so it's Force Overload works with Charisma saving throws instead of Constitution. As someone on reddit pointed out, there'd be a 50/50 chance of your guy/girl falling unconscious right from the start of battle.
With maxed out Cha, that chance is reduced to 15%.
The updated file is below.

There is a river that dips underground through a low-ceilinged cave before descending fairly gently under the grey hills to depths unknown. However, all it takes is a magic spell to lower the water level at the cave entrance to make this easily navigable by boat, as the river cave has a fairly high ceiling after the entrance… and at least one local merchant has been acquiring goods from someone along the underground river in this manner.
The very first structures along the river are attached...

Recently, I put together a blog post outlining how to create a magic item for Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition in 15 minutes or less. This time, I thought I might dig in a little deeper and show some more of my thought process behind creating stuff.
This in-depth article is divided into two parts:
This request comes from another one of my patrons, Brad. Here's what Brad requested:
I recently went through an escape room with some of my gaming group, and I thought that it would be interesting to put out characters through an “escape dungeon” during a session. Could you do that as a mini-dungeon?
Challenge accepted, Brad!
The general idea I came up with is a labyrinthine dungeon with a series of doors, all locked. The only way to get through e...

This request comes from one of my Patrons. Here's what he requested:
"Would love to see what magical cursed items under the theme of the seven deadly sins. I'm running a campaign that each sin is a mini-boss (or ally) and me and my players are having a great time with it."
Sounds awesome! With Infinity War still on the brain, I got the idea that maybe one person can hold all seven deadly sins artifacts at once. Of course, they would have to be attuned, but ...

Thanks a million to all of you for signing up to my Patreon. I've changed the way my Patreon works a little to give ALL OF YOU 100% precedence on the content that gets made here and on the blog. PLUS as usually, you get everything put into PDF form.
Right now, though, I need you all to LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS what you would like to make. Since you're the initial few, I'll let you any of you request up to the 2,000 tier mark (read the section on the side for what that me...

Dragons are an awesome force in the world, and as such, demand worship. Those who succumb to their whims are sometimes blessed with powers drawn from their draconic might. These dragon priests are often arrogant, stubborn bullies with quick tempers and a tendency towards megalomania.

Raging isn't always about anger. Sometimes, it's about being getting lost in the moment. This is what those who follow the Path of the Reveler believe. Also known as a "festive brute", the Reveler's rage is one that involves heavy drinking, dance, and cheering. That's not to say it still doesn't still act like a barbarian. Punches are still thrown, hits are landed, and the barbarian creates destruction in its wake. Yet, it's a lively destruction, the type that those on the receiving end might ev...

Big treat today! As part of a contest on Instagram, I created a new bard college, the College of Visual Arts. Here's the rundown:
Not all bards entice, charm, amuse or even intimidate with music. Some bards, such as those that join the College of Visual Arts take to painting, sculpture, and other forms of artistic expression to weave their tales and cast their enchantments.
Much like bards in general, no two participants of the College of Visual Arts are ...

But the good news is that you, faithful Patron, get first dibs on FREE download PDF versions of the classes. These will also be available on DMsGuild, but for $5 (so you essentially save $2 on the first one each month and every one I post that month after the first is totally FREE).

Clerics of Omun are consumed with crafting new and better machines. The smell of oil in the air and the clang of hammer echoing through the halls, their temples are less holy places and more...

November was all about the El Ocho campaign setting, inspired by my recent trip to Mexico (and my love for Mexican pulp novels).
But what should the theme for December be? I've got a few ideas of the direction I want to go, but I could use your input.
Thanks for following and voting!

This Cuzcatl story comes in the form of two huge dogs, one with black fur and one with white, one representing good while the other represents evil.
The black cadejo is an evil spirit who appears to those who wander alone late at night, using his red – hot – coal – like eyes to hypnotize his victims in an attempt to steal their souls.
The white cadejo is there to provide protection for his faithful believers – especially children. Some report to have seen a brawl brea...
