What I'm Working On

Hi Everyone--

Updates have been a bit thin on the ground so far this month, so I thought I'd just fill you all in on what's coming:

1) Issue 9 SSH TF (as you can see in the first image there)

2) Mary's Curse. I've been working on more pages for this. It's a slow burn with a hell of a payoff! (All of these other images are from this comic).

3) Mystery Altawoman project ?????

In this universe, it was Gwen Stacy, not Rick Jones, who trespassed onto the nuclear testing grounds that were the birthplace of the Hulk! Bathed in the same gamma rays, Gwen Stacy finds her own monstrous id only manifesting itself months later when she returns to New York. Along with her boyfriend Peter Parker and Doctor Curt Conners, Gwen fights to find a cure for her transformations into her hulking alter-ego.  Unfortunately her beau has a double life of his own as the Amazing Spider-...

I'm about to head off on holiday for a week, so I thought I'd keep you apprised of what you'll be seeing from me when I get back!

1) More SSH revised TFs. I'm working on the couch transformation from issue three, plus also the scene in issue 6 where Jen is held at gunpoint.

It's been a while since the last page, so I thought I'd put up the rest of it here for you too.

Some One-Shot TF's.

A few years ago, before I started my Patreon, I was trying to work on a follow up to 'The Wilds'. I didn't get very far, and this brief origin sequence featuring Wild-Woman is about as interesting as it gets. I'm focussing on finishing first Atalanta and then Time Chasers, and then I'd like to do something with the Wilds again.

The second pic started as an Altawoman TF, and then I decided it would be for a different character, and then I just went back to Altawoman again, as ...

New 'Rebirth universe' TF

I really love this version of Jen/SH. It's one of Terry's best stories and something I keep coming back to. I also love completism, so here is every piece of 'Rebirth Universe' art I've made.

 Love this character!-- Retro WW2 superhero setting... evil robots...Bettie Page inspired alter-ego. Why have I never gone back to this? Well, I guess Atalanta and Ms Liberty are very similar. Hmmm... maybe if they formed an 'Invaders' style  team! 

Issue 16 TF

It's been an ongoing project of mine to redraw every SH TF scene from the 'classic era' (1960's to 80's) of comics. I've collected here all of the sequences I've done so far! Well, those that I can remember that I've done, anyway. I'm trying to focus first on the transformations that took place off panel. The one's I'd like to tackle next are issue 6, where a thug pointing a gun at Jen's head triggers a Shulk-out or issue 14, where Jen transforms inside an empty beer-barrel.

Classic Manic: Car TF

Looking though my archives, I came across this gem of a sequence that had been left complete but unlettered. It appears to be my take on a (largely) off-camera transformation from issue 18 of SSH, where Jen is racing to some emergency only to be caught in a traffic jam. I can't quite place how old this is-- I have a feeling it's probably 2005-ish-- but it's one of the few examples of my early works that doesn't make me cringe too hard. 

Not sure why I didn't letter this ...

Classic manic: "The Prisoner".

This was an alt-take on the 1982 Hulk episdode where our heroes encountered Quasimodo episode in the sweres of Paris. To give the piece a suitably Parisian flavour, I designed the panels on page one to emulate Hector Guimard's famously organic-looking wrought-ironwork on the Metro. Kind of wish I'd kept this theme going throughout the comic, although it was a bugger to render!
