And even the last pinup of cover # 1 is finished!  Now it lacks only a nice final assembly work and the cover is ready! :D Soon on the site! In the middle I will take a few minutes off to answer your messages and comments. Thank you for your patience! 

A nice note. It might seem that William's champagne has the"Dillinger" brand (a dear character of mine that you probably know) ... but actually  ...LLINGER it's the final part of the name "Bollinger" LOL a brand that act...

It was fun to choose an original color palette for this new costume for Violet! It's so unusual for her, I boldly chose the new colors and I like it! Excuse me if I have not yet personally responded to your comments and messages but I'm running like a train on the tracks to finish these drawings as soon as possible! :D

I'm sorry I'm not a good movie maker LOL XD and the images are a bit blurry, but it was the first time, it was raining and I had to keep the umbrella. However I always get excited to review these videos because I relive those feelings and ... I did not realize that there is a really great atmosphere's background music ! :O It was not added by me, it came from the temple ... I felt to be like in an anime... in Inuyasha style! XD

EDIT: after some reflections, while I'm writing the bios of Clyde, I've decided to change his surname in White, instead of Whitetip. In Italian the name Punta Bianca sounds good ... but in English I prefer to use only the word White because I prefer it in the dialogues, "Mr White" ... I like it ( also  because I'm a fan of Breaking Bad LOL). Also all you know that I use the name of the colors to give the names or surnames to my characters, and I had not used White it yet XD ! Colors! As I said in my previous post/blog ... my new fursona has honey blonde hair and some small differences ( clear legs and tawny tail). And the hair and dress style...is not from 1895, but of 1948! ;)

Speaking of Japan and Reboot of PBB

That's a selfie of me after hanging my wish at the temple. I have no more wine red hair (like my old fursona) but a sort of honey blonde. I was a brunette for 20 years and dark red head for other 20 years, this is the time to change everything in my life :)

When I was in  Japan I realized that they like to make reboots of successful series,  without my fans complaining ... on the contrary, they have a great  success among the fans. For example:

Some info about the PBB EMA!

1:  It was drawn directly on the wood with a green pen, inked with a black  pen, and the following day I bought a set of 6 felt-tip japanese pens in a  COMBINI to add some more colors. The white lights were made with a liquid correction pen that I had brought with me from Italy ... in anticipation that I would keep a diary with the notes of my trip (which I did) :)

My Apologize

You will have noticed that last Sunday I suddenly disappeared. 

I was posting photos of Japan and I was enthusiastically telling the story of PBB's EMA... I felt already strange from a few hours, from the morning of that day ... and the time to get up from the PC and take a short break and I had a sudden failure. 

I had 38 degrees of fever. Suddenly I found myself sick and suffering and that night was a nightmare. The next morning at 8:30 am Marco went to my doctor to get some ...

My Ema!

Success and prosperity in my work?!? By the end of this year?!?  I could not resist! LOL!! XD

I bought an Ema and I drew this sketch with a green pen (I did not have a pencil and a rubber, but a green pen ...) and then I inkied this drawing with a black pen, directly on the wood. 

In the attachment you will find ONE photo in COLORS of the final result! 

But only the Patrons with the pledge above a dollar will be able to access the other photos and al...

Anime Ema

Ema are tablets that hang in Shinto temples. The wishes that will be read by the kami (gods) are written on them, the wishes will be read by the gods and will be fulfilled by the end of the year... OMG!

Every year on the 15th of  January, during the Shinto ceremony called Otakiage (お 焚 き 上 げ), they  are burned to make room for the wishes of the new year.
Therefore, the ema have an expiration date of about one year, after which they are destroyed together with the omikuji...

Kanda Shrine, Kanda-myōjin

So my friend  tells me: "Vanessa, near here there is a very famous temple that could  interest you because it is where you pray to get successes at work! They  come businessmen and  entrepreneurs to pray for success in their business  and receive the right reward and earnings. Blog of the holidays in Japan!

Today I want to share with you the first photos of my trip in Japan.

Let  me say that I am not an expert and this was my first trip to Japan, and  I was always in Tokyo because I was a guest of some friends, and I could not afford to see other cities. But I enjoyed discovering many interesting things in this city and my days were "citizen" and not as a tourist. This  means that even if I had little money in my pocket, I enjoyed long walks and as it rained heavily most days I spe...

Vanessa Aglais io, new character design ( colored version!)

Miss Vanessa Io is the Concierge of the Delight Castle! :D

In a certain way she remains, as in the first version of the story, also the narrator of the story but in a different way that you will discover! 

She not break the fourth wall, she does not summarize the previous episode anymore, she is not the author of the comic or the story, she is a character: a witness. 

To be a good witness of the real facts, not being the author of a story invented by her, she...

Vanessa ( Aglais) Io new character design ( BW version)

 Finally my fursona ancestor has a complete name, and a role in history as well! :D 

Not everyone knows that Vanessa is a Greek name and in Greek it means: butterfly. 

In Europe ( where PBB is established ) Vanessa is the name of a well-known species of red butterflies, whose most famous and colorful is the  "Vanessa Io" (or "Vanessa Algais Io" or "Vanessa Inachis Io")

I'm back ! :D

Hellooooo!!! Is Vanessa writing here after about a month! I came back from my trip to Japan and it was... AMAZING !!! :O 

I have so many things to tell you and show you :D !! But tomorrow is Easter...XD ( Happy Easter!!) so now I can not tell you all, but I will not miss, I will show you some pictures! ;)

Profile page on website

Hi, Gianluca's writing here.

I've just deployed a small update on the website. It's now present a simple Profile page accessible from the menu once you have logged with Patreon connect.

The most important information displayed on Profile page is the Reward. Please, if you go on the website check that the page shows the correct Reward you choose.

If you see something not correct on that page, please report to me.

Rewards changed

Hi all,

is Gianluca writing here, while Vanessa is enjoying a Japanese break, I'm continuing applying the changes we agreed with her last month.

One of the biggest changes during this transitional period on the reboot of PBB is the deletion of the old rewards and the creation of the new ones.

Now, the documentation on Patreon is not very clear about what actually happen. The only thing is clear about is that rewards cannot be changed, so I have been forced to delete the old rewards...

Snow in Rome today!

It is rare that it snows in Rome, but this morning we had this white surprise! :D 

I made this "snowman" ... or better a "snow-cat-fox" ( I do not know  exactly what came out! LOL) but I had fun doing it on the hood of my  boyfriend's car and now the facts are two: or it will melt or it will become ice tonight and tomorrow we will have a problem using the car :P
