The name Lucia comes from the word luce: light, but I'm not sure you know the pronunciation, maybe for you it would be written Luchia... to understand.

The flashback you are reading is set in Sicily in 1880.

Lucia is one of William's siblings and in this memory she is 12 years old. The story of Bon bon is set in 1895, so 15 years have passed. Now Lucia is 27 years old, so you can fall in love with her haha! And soon I'll show you how she is now, for her character bios!

Idea for next pinups collection!

Ok, I don't think I'll be able to do all 4 for Halloween , because the idea for these costumes for PBB's characters came to me this morning (!) while I was drying my hair and on my phone there was my youtube playlist... and when I re watched ( for the umpteenth time since it came out on MTV! ) Lady Marmalade's videoclip, I had an epiphany! :D

Preview!!

The black and white preview page for Gold Rewards is coming! 

I actually didn't want to post it with blank backgrounds because it would have looked like a "lazy" page so I preferred to start painting the background, each tree and orange was drawn by myself, drew a brush for the leaves and built each tree, and I drew the oranges. 

You will understand a lot more when the page is finished (soon because the background is done!) because I will bring to your attention the memo...

Only to say you that all the layouts of the pages that complete the first chapter, up to the last page, are finished!

I'm not talking about "old" pages to redraw, from now on they are all NEW unpublished pages!

The previous post was for everyone, now I would like to talk to you about the new page. 

We all know from PBB Legacy who the Clan member who gave William the directions to find Bon Bon was, but as I said, that comic version was very hasty and my partner didn't care about the story, so it made me feel guilty about waste pages with more details.

I believe that the note written by Dorian mattered, because it is really impossible to find Bon Bon without someone sharing the secret...

Inking and first phase of shadows. 

Shadows and highlights have 4 phases (excluding flat coloring): shadow 1, shadow 2 (darker) and cel-saded light, and then a final rendering of mood and brightness with softer highlights and some colored lineart.

A new leaf

Thank you for being with me in this absurd month of August 2022. I will never forget your support and closeness at a terrible time in my life. 

I started working on coloring the new page again. I will start the new pages of PBB with a different head and heart but they will be pages full of feeling, and hard work, because costumes and locations are new and fantastic. 

Hope you will love it, in September it's time to move forward and to turning over a new leaf.

My weekend...

Unfortunately my father passed away on August 19th, just the day after my last post. 

He didn't even get to the clinic and I am so sorry because I know he suffered in the emergency room.

But I didn't have time to mourn him because same day I had 24 hours to organize his funeral for the following day, the 20th. Crazy, but in Italy if you die on a Friday in the hospital, the funeral cannot be held on Sunday, and the following Monday is too late ( a hospital does not keep the bo...

In the original, The Fool goes absent-mindedly towards a cliff and the landscape is made up of snow-capped mountains, I suggested to Generix Phoenix, the Patron who commissioned this work, to enrich the landscape with the Bon Bon valley, and the Delight Castle! The perfect setting for our man!
