We're finally getting somewhere with the new channel, which if you missed it, you can find over here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBPy4X-lQlnyN2-Z4U4t65g

I've finished my first draft of the script, which ended up being a lot longer than I expected for my first project. Tomorrow I'll be reading...

First of all, whoops, Other M was in the last poll because I genuinely thought it was a 2D game by Team Ninja and never actually checked.
Anyway, the two leading games are Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion, with Super Metroid being the clear leader. For some context though, I'm intending to cover Metroid Dread when it comes out in October. Dread is apparently a sequel to Metroid Fusion, which I didn't really know before. Given this context, which of these two games would you prefer I cov...

I think it's time to finally cover the Metroid half of Metroidvania. Maybe we'll get to the Vania part soon, too. Vote for as many of the below as you want. I've never played any of them, having preferred swords and miserable piles of secrets.
This series would premiere after Subnautica, not Devotion.

Alright, we have two clear leads in yesterday's poll, so let's have a clarifying vote.

Paradise Killer is wrapping up soon, and I thought the next game was going to be LSD, but that game seems to be much too long for a full series to remain interesting.
After having my first choice not work out, I'm not feeling a super specific pull this time around. I've got plenty options, since I always keep to-do lists. Even really specific ones for games that look like they'd be good for playing with Andrew, Bird, or Stephanie, specifically.
So, uh, here's a selection fro...

So I usually let myself pick games mostly on a whim, with a series of lists to keep track of my options and which series to follow up on. Most of the time I don't really care about new releases all that much, and often have one whole newish game running at a time.
But every now and then something comes out that I'm "obviously" going to play, like a new From Software souls-like or something. Lately there have been a few more examples of things I'll "obviously" play immediatel...

It's time to vote! The nominating supporters have generated the new list, and you now have about 48 hours to send in your votes. Remember: you can vote for multiple games that interest you. I've also included links to trailers so you can learn about the games you don't already know. There is a section that explains how blind each playthrough would be for those to which that is important.
Just fill out the form here:

Anyway, I've decided that I'm going to put out the "Part 100" finale as a video series over the course of weeks or months because it's just an easier project to process in that form. I can chip away at it over time this way instead of doing...

There's a lot of setup and cooldown time before and after multiplayer sessions and podcasts. Any recordings I have from that don't really fit in the content that we were making at the time, but sometimes there's a clip to be salvaged. This series is those clips.

The new public post approach seemed to work for nominations, so here we go. For those that missed the nomination post (because viewership is locked to them) the messaging system and the dashboard that lists patrons have undergone changes that have made my previous approach less and less feasible, so we're switching to blog posts, which I guess I could have always been doing.

I've finally started my playthrough of Hades, and the game proposes a bit of a conundrum. It's a rogue-lite, where you go on runs, and it often feels like I should present each run in its entirety, all at once. The issue is that Hades is not a quick and snappy rogue-lite, so the runs can go on for well over an hour. I can't really blitz through this game with hour-long daily episodes, as this isn't in the RPG slot (and I'll be quite busy there soon with Cyberpunk 2077).

You may remember that I was getting rid of the $25 tier because I was no longer going to be offering the Let's Try Curator perk. In response, there was mention from some people that just being separated in the credits was worth it. Also, while people from the previous $25 tier have moved on to other tiers, many are still supporting me via the custom amount of $25 while technically in the ...

Testing a new show where I put some of the amusing scraps that occur usually before episodes have really begun. A Patreon perk, but I have no idea how often episodes are likely to come out.

[I originally posted this in discord, but I figured I should re-edit it, expand it, and post it over here.]
I've found myself questioning lately whether the Let's Try slot should continue to exist.
As the schedule has compressed it now takes up one of four total timeslots, being:
1) RPG
2) Let's Try
3) Patreon
4) The confusing rotating slot
And while I like the variety the rotating slot brings, TLoU2 and KRZ took a very, very long time back to back. S...

So, uh... Supraland and There is No Game tied. But also I was really kicking myself for forgetting a lot of games. You really get a sense for how overwhelming keeping up with even one genre is, huh?

I recognize that puzzle fans have lost out a bit ever since the puzzle slot was folded into the new chimera that is the indie/AAA/puzzle/classic... thing. I largely stand by the choice because the schedule was getting overwhelming, especially with the addition of the multiplayer stuff (the Stephanie series, Bird series, Andrew series, and misc weekend group stuff [probably Overwatch]), which, from the schedule's perspective, are like free bonus videos. The weight of the multiplayer vide...
