Pillows!

I'm not sure if you are all aware, but in addition to cosplay, I also sew custom character pillows. Here are some of the pillow cases chilling out in my basement. I made a bunch to sell at the local con in September (the Bulbasaurs and Pickle Ricks sold out).

I've made animals, a friend's boyfriend, and characters from Rick & Morty, Star Wars, Pokemon, Madoka Magica, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Fallout, and Spiderman. I may open an Etsy shop one day. :)

Panther Hype

I got photos from one of my Panther shoots recently, but I am going to wait until both shoots are here before I put them online.

In the mean time, have a super spooky teaser! We got to barge into the laser tag course when no one was using it... There were all sorts of cool monsters to whip and hide from. I really like the contrast of the red suit against the green rock.  <3

I will say one thing for the Miccostumes suit - it was always very flattering for the booty.

Ann Takamaki WIPs

I succeeded in designing a new bikini for Cognitive Ann. Cow boobs no longer! Although, it is printed on the site Arts Cow... xDD

I did not make these vectors from scratch but rather found some online and shifted them around and recoloured everything. If you can believe it, the original leopard print was white with pastel spots... xD

The tank top I made on a whim after seeing a picture of one of Ann's casual outfits. Also everything is 35% off, so why not...

Our Canadian skin is soooo obvious. xD I was startled by how yellow my wig  looks in these photos. I mean, YES, the wig is a very yellow blonde, but it looks almost the same as my old wig in these pictures. I'm glad I didn't go with the actual yellow blonde option from Arda...

Swim!Yang Sneak Peek

I got some photos back from Daishocon already! It was great to shoot in a very different location with a new photographer. I can't wait to see his shots of my Panther. <3

Ann Goofiness

While I get the tutorials ready, here's a dumb picture from when I attended a RWBY-themed Cards Against Humanity panel... xD My wig was falling off and I was just very ready to get out this outfit.

I was unable to rest, though, because that night we had a rave. I danced until 3 AM and basically sank into the hotel bed when we got back.

Bikini WIP

I found a pink leopard print online and have been slowly tweaking the colours until I reached this... I thought I was good to go until I loaded it on the apparel creating site (ArtsCow - yep, it will still be a cow bikini xD) and learned it had a low dpi. :') Wasn't paying attention to the size at all. Guess I will have to remake it from scratch.

Planning on buying Aelynn Cosplay's creation of Ann Takamaki's ACTUAL bikini. She recreated the print so faithfully~ She's selling the leopard print ...

"Cowgnitive" Ann

Despite my best efforts, I didn't succeed in booking a shoot for Cognitive Ann. I dragged my poor friend Adam into the task of getting a few snaps. And oh lord... My feet were dying after a day of Ariel's heels and then Panther's heels and finally these GOD AWFUL THINGS. These heels are at once too small and too big. 

In addition to that, the bikini wouldn't stop sliding about awkwardly... At least my tiara ears held up! I was convinced they would fall apart.

New Content Incoming~

I know it has been AGES since I posted, but I was away for several days for Daishocon, and I absolutely despise using Patreon on my phone.

On the bright side, I had not one but FOUR photo shoots at Patreon, not including a mini shoot I had with my friend when we attempted to sneak some Cognitive Ann pictures in (AKA the dreaded cow bikini).

Cozy Winter Pj Plans

Not 100% sure about the character, but thinking Ann for this one... I plan to have a shoot this winter staring a character in her cozy winter pajamas, reading a book, drinking cocoa, using her phone, playing her 3DS... Etc.

Would you enjoy something like that? Just a light, casual, happy shoot.

YES I HAVE PANTS ON. XDDD The shorts are the same fabric as the top.

November Friendsigns

October friend signs will be taken this Sunday! I'm really sorry, everyone - it's been utter chaos and tragedy. Blegh. But yes, Yang was chosen last month, and I will deliver!

Ann is Basically Done?!

I just need to tidy up the wig, fix the neck zipper, and make sure the mask stays on my head!

Have a bunch of pics from when I tried it all on. Staring a headless Emma in her mirror once again... I'll include my head once I can get the wig, mask, and neck under control. xDD

Can't wait to post a comparison photo with the original Miccostumes pieces... In this photo, I am wearing the altered bodysuit, boots made entirely from scratch, new and altered gloves, the tail recovered with the boo...

Ann Takamaki/Panther Preview

Ann is basically done?! I just have a few things to tidy up (mask, wig, neck zipper). Here's a preview... In the morning, Burger Buddies and up will get to see shots of the full body with the new tail and boots I put together!

It doesn't always look this wrinkly... xD I just actually slouched in front of my mirror. And I forgot to put my other glove back on. ^^:;

Tier Changes Complete!

Hi everyone! Please take a moment to review the changes to my tiers, effective this month.

* I added a $3 tier called Mac n' Cheese Mates featuring tutorials. For some reason, I can't add bullet points to my text anymore, so it will forever haunt my OCD. :')

* $5 tier Burger Buddies are now included in the monthly print draw, and the majority of polls with be accessible to them!

I'll understand if you want to change tiers upon reading this. :)

Bikini Less Successful...

Have some lovely Emma mirror selfies...

The bikini is here and is unfortunately quite the mess. The print is zoomed in, which makes the already so-so leopard print look like a cow print. A pink cow. T-T There are some problems with the ties fraying and a print error in the crotch. THIS is blessedly hidden by the way the fabric folds when worn, but yikes.

I'll finish the ears and tiara, but I am honestly quite bummed about this. What do you guys think? Does it still work?!

Ann Takamaki Mask Arrived! But... xD

Okay, so before you say anything, the mask IS beautiful. Termina Cosplay did a beautiful job. There is a small chip in the paint near the nose, but otherwise it is lovely. I'll tidy that chip up and then add the silver around the eyes.

My problem is that she included a black strip of pleather or something to tie it, and I just CAN'T get it tight enough. xDD It's sinking down my face in the first photo, and just continued to plummet... I'll need to swap in some elastic when I get the chance. :'...

Kigurumi Kreep

Lordy. What is this?! XDD Depending on the placement and choice of facial features, he just looks like a tusked horse.

You can see the body lying dejectedly in the background in the last photo. xD

Tier Changes

This month I am going to shift the tiers about a bit - I'll post all of the changes here in a bit. Nothing SUPER drastic - the main change is that the $5 tier will now gain access to the monthly print draw.

I will also make more of structured posting schedule - wish me luck. xDD

I will understand if you wish to change your contribution and will answer any questions you may have. :)

Also, good news - the Ann Takamaki bikini has made it to Canada! She is now locked in for Daishocon....

Morph Dyesub Suits

I've always been tempted to get one of these suits for just a casual cosplay to wear in my downtime at cons/when working booths. Unfortunately, while I like Spidey, I don't have any need to cosplay Spidergwen or MK or anything like that. But when I see stuff like Asuka, I get ideas in my head... :3 Would anyone like to see me cosplay her?

I like Samus's and DJ Sona's designs, too, but I have never played their games... (Not that that stopped me from cosplaying Ann <<;; )

Emma MIA

Hey, so sorry everyone - I had a rough weekend because my poor Boris had to be put down, and I just got into a progressively worse mood on top of being a little sick.

UPDATES:

* I worked on my boar kigurumi some more - it's wearable but needs elastics and some detailing for the face and hooves.

* Ann's mask made it to the US pickup location! Going to retrieve it this week.

* I finished altering Ann's gloves. Naturally I looked at refs again and decided I made a mistake BUT OH...

Boar Kigurumi

I shared a bit of this in my story on Instagram, but here's the front and back of my boar/warthog/Pumba kigurumi! We're all making onesies for goofy times at Daishocon next month. :)

Just gotta add the sleeves and sew up the body... then I need to decide what kind of face this creature is getting.

Can't be glamorous and/or sexy all the time... But this is gonna be very warm to wear for long...

Generic Impractical School Girl

I got this for free from SpreePicky (yes, free - I just had to pay shipping). It's cheap and ridiculous and obviously something I would never wear for "serious" cosplay, but maybe it can be a silly friendsign outfit in the future.

To celebrate my 666 followers, I was supposed to have a mini shoot as Ann or Yang dressed as a little devil to offer as a prize print. Unfortunately, I got way too lazy and couldn't get nice lighting nor a decent backdrop set up in my bedroom.

Have this gem instead.

Sewing at my desk because the boss is away... and it's not like I have any actual work, even when he is here.

My job is really boring. T-T

So pumped to see this costume completed, though. <3

I made the mistake of looking at the whip references, though. GOTTA FIX THAT NOW.

Ann Boots Near Completion!

Here's a lovely little collage of my boots now that both cuffs are attached. I just need to colour the heels red and take in the excess fabric and do some tidying at the top. <3

Old Boots vs New Boots

Here's a comparison of my old Miccostumes boot cover and my new homemade one worn over shoes that are basically the same shape.

Okay so... I understand that Miccostumes had to make the boot covers pretty vague and stretchy to fit over a lot of shoe shapes and sizes but WHAT IS THAT?!

I am aware that I used a higher quality material but good golly Molly. What a vision.

Also I like the colour of mine much better... I have now refitted the suit, replaced the boots, mask, and gloves, p...

Mass Photo Shoot Dilemma!

On the Sunday of Daishocon, they have a mass photo shoot for Persona at 10 AM and Disney at noon... I have both Ann Takamaki and Ariel's ballgown! Which shoot should I attend?

I intend to have professional photos of both characters done in the future, of course.
