Colossal North plans?!

Here's my tentative lineup for Colossal North! (It is not until November, so these plans are subject to change.),

Top left: I was unable to get pro photos of Ustrina during OffKai, so she's comin' back (and this time with the correct headphones and other adjustments). 🔥

Top right: Iono from Pokémon S/V is tentative... I am looking for a sponsor, so let me know if you'd be interested in seeing me wear this cosplay! ⚡️

My only regret is that I blended in with the scenery a little TOO well... I'd like to make a dress like this again, but in a bolder colour so I can POP!

That said, I love the dress a lot and just keep gazing at these photos like "mmm~"

Ai-Kon Day 2!

Ah yes, the fruit of my crunchy labours - Regency Leafeon! 🌿

We were positively SWARMED with photographers and videographers in this garden when we met up with my go-to photo gal, Krista. Our big group shoots usually take a long time, but this one was extended quite a bit while multiple people took group and solo shoots of us. We were even raided by another Pokémon cosplay group; their rock band theme set all the Eevee ladies' hearts aflutter. Lord Sylveon was most envious!

I was going to post this earlier today, but the joke is that I always post around 2 AM my time, so here you go.

This is my vampire OC Raschelle Laforet. Auragale, Rice Poison, and I are currently working on our vampy lore. We threw them together for the monster maid cafe at Ai-Kon last weekend.

It wasn't exactly the monster mash we expected, but we still had fun with our spooky butler and delicious blood snacks.

OffKai cosplay showcase dance video

(Some of you have seen this, but for those who haven't...)

All right so... I didn't realize that basically everyone in the showcase had prepared a skit, dance, or song performance, so there I was scrambling to make something up while I waited to go on stage. Ooooops. I had never even heard the music before this day, so it's a blessing it kinda fit with my wild "ballet" moves.

The asked me a couple basic questions when I walked up and then if I had something to perform. I nervously...

OffKai Expo selfies

As promised, here are some OffKai shots! Casual Ustrina turned out pretty okay~

I got to meet the vtuber Sinder, who also has a fire-themed model, as well as Utano Pandora, Grimmi, and Kabhaal. The latter three weren't present and used a machine to sign their prints, which was honestly really cool to watch! (plus they customized them for me, whereas Sinder's was just pre-signed ;-; )

Maybe one day I will have prints like these for Ustrina?

Photos from San Francisco!

A valiant effort (plus new hair selfie)

So I flew out to San Francisco on the 10th... Unfortunately, I was unable to finish magical girl Ustrina in time. 😭 The headphones for the casual version never showed up so I am using my broken pair that I used to use to stream - hopefully the lights still work!

At least my hair looked cute while I was slaving until I gave up. XD

Of course, since I was rushing to finish the magical girl outfit to wear to the OffKai Expo cosplay showcase, I let the casual outfit go unfinished....

Ustrina WIP - printed things to alter

"It's giving Workout Barbie."

Just in time for Pride Month, my absolutely ridiculously leggings and tank arrived from ArtsCow. I created images based on Ustrina's tank and thigh highs and printed them using ArtsCow's service. [Not sponsored] I just gotta fashion the leggings into socks and drop the neckline on the top.

They look HILARIOUS together. I couldn't stop romping around at my mum's, hahaha!

I reaaaally need to alter this suit when I wear it for a real photo shoot. It's just like the Panther suit when I first got it - baggy in some awkward places. 😅

Ustrina shorts WIP (with selfies 🍑)

The shorts are almost done! I just need to sew down the belt loops, install hooks in the waistband, and add the green cuffs to the legs. At some point I need to get a cute yellow button for the front (I made mine zip in the back so it would be purely decorative).

The fabric has some stretch to it and is quite comfy, so I couldn't resist taking a bunch of exaggerated bendy photos. 👀 (swipe through)

The custom printed legwear and tank top made it to Canada, so I should have tho...

Casual Ustrina WIP - shorts

Ustrina's outfit is quite a, uh, statement... Since I already own her varsity-style jacket and have ordered something to use as her tank top, I am starting with her shorts. However, the previous things I have to sew for another event coming up soon - OffKai Expo, just outside of San Francisco! ☀️ This will be my first time traveling to California (and indeed that entire side of the US), so I am quite excited!

Bunny Ram mini album 🐰

Hoppy Easter! 🐰🥚 Today I bring thee some of the long-abandoned Ram photos...

I started editing them long ago (you may remember some floating around) but got discouraged because I didn't feel very attractive in this bunnysuit. It was ill-fitting and cheap (you can see the zipper is stuck in the back and one of the seams is unraveling). The maid costume was kinda frumpy as well.

The album is unfortunately small for this reason, but soon I will add the maid Ram photos as well...

Leafeon WIP - cutting dress pieces

Since I was cruel to myself and chose to overlay the dress with a striped fabric - the dress that already goes under another layer of clothing 😅 - this is taking twice as long as it should. Actually more than that, because I am absolutely paranoid about making sure the stripes are straight and centered on the yellow dress piece below. (See the clips in photo 3)

I sure hope this gathers neatly and doesn't look too stiff. 😬

I am considering making the train of the green gar...

Belated Valentines going out!

I have recovered from Covid 2: Phlegmy Boogerloo and gotten lots of busy stuff out of the way, so I finally finished up the majority of the Valentine packages and will get them out this weekend. I am so, SO sorry for the delay. Curse you, Aunt Rona...

New Rise photos online!

Yay! I received the final set from my 2022 cosplay shoots - a fresh look at Arabian Armour Rise. It's online for tier 2 and up now.

I actually finished a few details on this one and added the braids to her wig, so she's in better shape than 2019, too. Is there a cosplay you'd like to see me revisit?

As glamorous as the arcade photos were, it's nice to see this costume out in the sunlight. I also finally finished/fixed some parts and tied the wig up with the braids this time, too.
