The amount of physical Shikishi are visibly getting smaller, it's quite interesting to see that the studio is gradually adapting to a more digital environment. A lot of interesting Shikishi's this time around. I'm really liking the "The Shining" reference...
However, a good majority of our Shikishi's are now digital. With COVID situation becoming more serious in Tokyo, more of our staffs are making the transition to digital illustration. A bit unfortunate news for our supporters who look forward for our SHIKISHI Tier rewards, but this was probably a transition that was long due.

I hope everyone is finding some way to cool off during this extremely hot summer. I myself have been taking multiple water baths a day since air conditioning is almost futile here in Japan... or maybe my air condition is just poor. Either way I cannot wait for the winter season.

Hope everyone is doing fine and well!
Weather in Japan is suppose to enter the rainy season soon... but it's been awfully hot recently. Hopefully it'll cool down soon.
We've got a lot of nice Shikishi this time around. It is unfortunate that a lot of these are digital. I suppose this is the result of both remote working and our incorporation of digital appliance more at the studio.

Apologies for the late update with the Shikishi's. Japan was in Golden week earlier this month, and we also had issues with some of the scans turning out quite dirty. We had to re-scan some of the Shikishi further delaying the update.
