FIXED UP! (WIP)

I’ve been wanting to line this bust sketch for a bit but I just wasn’t happy with it & couldn’t quite place why… I’d opened it & messed around a few times since the sketch was originally finished but didn’t actually land on anything I liked better until today!! Did an overhaul of everything & cleaned it up and I am SOOO much happier with it- and now I can get onto lining :3

Took me a bit BUUUT I got this guy lined & colored today!! :3 was cursing myself & my messy sketches yet again- had to clean as I lined which took longer than anticipated but WE GOT THERE!! Also fiddled with the scale markings for a while but settled on making a soft edged diamond stamper which worked SO so well compared to me trying to draw em all by hand

I’ve got a weirdly sore neck today so this is likely it for my desk time & workin!! Not as much as I’d wanted to do ...

Forgot I hadn’t posted this guy omg!! Got the second new wallpaper sketch lined & colored last night during movie watches :3 he’s all approved to finish up as well!!

BADGE PROGRESS! (WIPS)

Took the first 3-ish hours of my work day to pour some progress into these badge comms!! Pocky is ready for linework now, Laney is NEARLY there & just needs a bit more layering on the newly added markings, and Pocky has almost a full first layer of colour down that I can start building on!! So so pleased with all of these already I have soooo been enjoying Posca work :”3

WALLPAPER WIPS!

Took a couple new wallpaper comms & got some huge progress down on em between yesterday and today!! Second sketch JUST got sent off for approvals so once its got the okay it’ll be onto lines and coloring :3

SKETCH BATCH! (WIPS)

Took on a few new comms yesterday & got the sketches going today which I am SO so thrilled with so far!! A couple are already good to line, surfer boy is COMIN, and the ref is waiting on some important info before I resume!! I really want to take my bike out though so I’m pausing for now & will resume scribbling later :3

ALSOOO was working on fur rendering yesterday which I am feeling SO much better about & I’m super excited to resume!!

Finished up this cool cat today for mojoyote!! WHAT A FUN PROJECT… working with the new chibi style & rolling with a horror VHS theme was SUCH a blast omg

Also designing my own cover was fun as hell I can’t lie I thought it would be harder but making it look aged was fairly straightforward :3 📼

Appropriate title because after this I am BEAT- didn’t consider how the folds I drew for the overshirt would be tricky as hell to put plaid bars on so it took me WAY longer than usual… but good results :3 this comm is off for approvals before I finish it up!!

Could finally sit down today since the sinus headache improved tremendously & do a bit of art!! Got this reward finished for Hyena- the blue edge light was a spur of the moment idea but I really really like it hehe

HI BUDDIES so sorry it’s been a few days since my last proper post- I had my last long shift in a row Monday and woke up congested as fuck yesterday, only to find out today that the house has COVID :( thankfully I’m not too poorly but I’m definitely not feeling 100%, so while I do want to try and draw as I can it may be personal doodles & general low activity until we’re on the mend. Thank you for understanding 💛

had a couple hours of rest & downtime this morning before I have to leave for shift 3/4, so I managed to get a bit of rendering done on this!! not the most but I definitely needed to sleep in today woof

I’ll be in late & up semi-early tomorrow for a full day so this will most likely be the only art progress until Tuesday unfortunately, but then I’ll be back to it!

Couple WIPs to share for today!! Got a chibi comm pose roughed out & approved to get the clothes on and clean up, & started the line work on a bust comm for the afternoon!! Not the most today but I did need to urgently do laundry so that took some time :”3

A handful of coworkers all had holidays this/next week so I am stacked for full days from Friday-Monday, and I’m not expecting to have the energy to do too much tbh so I’ll most likely be away from posting until Tuesday!...

ALL DAY SOIRÉE (REWARDS)

Figured what the hell HUGE BATCH POST FOR TODAY!! Went around and finished all the hair shading & final detailing for these four gals AND I LOVE THEM SM!! Followed a tutorial for Dare & then did my own versions of it for Corvette & Purple and I think I’m getting somewhere with the look I want which feels EXCELLENT

Aside from more Posca work today, spent it rendering things for rewards!! I was aiming to finish the first one up but I wasn’t happy with the hair I had started SO I elected to do as much as I could on multiple so once I iron out the hair look I can speed complete them :3

FINISHED UP THIS WALLPAPER COMM TONIGHT!! Well ok it’ll be LAST night when this goes up- my laptop was bugging HARDCORE so I elected to just schedule it instead of posting at 11pm lmao

This was a departure from the usual toony style of these but I felt like to really get the snarl request down it needed a more detailed and “jagged” feeling which I think came through really well :3

Finished up the 3 slots of this YCH for my buddies and I am SOOO so happy with the results!! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again I am SO in love & proud of this file it is such a true labour of love :”3
