Yo happy Thurs everyone. For the first time ever, I'm actually posting someone else's art here, but I did an art trade with Bea & Gio (click the link to check out their page). We both drew each others characters to post on our respective Patreon account so please enjoy the fanart! I drew both Bea & Gio for their page as well so feel free to check them out if you follow them. They've also giving me one of their exclusive comics to post on here too which will come a bit later this month.

I'd also like to say in general, I'm always really interested in how other people draw my characters, especially when their artstyle is so different from mine.

November Update 2023

Yo everyone, apologies for the late update post, I’ve been out of commission for the past week and a bit. However I’d like to first say thank you to all who enjoyed the most recent Halloween comic, it wasn’t as explicitly spooky as the last two years comics but I thought this year I would try something different. October always seems to be an experimental time for me.

Secondly, I’d like to outline what I plan on working on this month. In November you can expect to see the following from me:

⭐️ Cover Page for Little Snack

Little Snack still needs a cover page for it’s public release, so I’ll likely be posting up some rough sketches shortly. I still only have a loose idea at the moment, but hopefully you guys will help me pick a good one. ;)

⭐️ November Comic Projects - Movie Flick Chick Minicomics

I started working on these pages back in September and will be aiming to finish them throughout the month! $6 patrons have already seen the fully inked pages for the remake of the original MFC meets Decepticon Josh comic as well as the new comic depicting MFC meeting The Aggrieved Gamer for the first time. There are two more comics to come as well, including one featuring TCGPlayer (aka Paul) and another which is a remake of the original comic featuring Movie Marco.

I want to make these comics look as good as possible because I plan on including them in the first Movie Flick Chick collected volume. For those currently unaware, this past year I’ve been running some tests behind the scenes on printed comic books, and have been planning to select The Movie Flick Chick as the subject for my first nsfw physical release. Right now, in addition to adding some new stories, I’ve been slowly going back and reformatting some of my older pages to make them print ready. It’s a lot of technical jargon but essentially because I didn’t originally design my comics for print (because I lacked any kind of foresight) I need to go back and add bleedlines, adjust colors and a bunch of other little annoying things. I’ll have more updates on the actual book shortly after all the new comics are done, but definitely look forward to that! I have a few other things related to book content I’d like to announce shortly as well, and though I can’t confirm hard details on anything yet, one promise I would like to make is that when it comes closer to completion I would like to have something prepared so all my patrons who are interested in the book get something unique and special along with it.

⭐️Movie Flick Chick AMA

Related to the previously mentioned book release but I’d like to also like to include some kind of small Q&A section so sometime this month I’ll put up a post for it. I don’t know yet if I should make it a Patreon exclusive thing or not but that probably depends on how many questions I get…

⭐️Bea & Gio Collab

Also, I was asked to do a small collab with another artist account Bea & Gio so do check them out! We’ll be doing an art trade where I draw their characters and they will be drawing an original illustration of The Movie Flick Chick.

⭐️ Monthly Fanart Poll

And finally for this month there is the fanart poll. I thought as a change of pace for this month that instead of doing a typical fanart piece, because we are currently within the month of No Nostalgia Critic November (a yearly challenge I always fail dutifully) and because there is so much Movie Flick Chick stuff happening this month anyways why not use this month’s poll to create a new reviewer type character for The Movie Flick Chick to seduce? Is that something you guys would be into this month, or would that be “cringe” as the kids say? Lemme know in the comments! If it’s an unpopular idea I don’t mind doing a standard fanart poll like usual.

Movie Flick Chick Meets Decepticon Josh (REMAKE) - Inked Pages

Hello everyone! I’ve been doing a lot of inking recently, specifically on these comic pages for the upcoming Movie Flick Chick book project.

For those who missed it, back in September I announced I’d be working on a Movie Flick Chick book, and as part of it I was going to be redrawing a few of the original short stories as well as a few new ones. I’ll be doing a monthly report shortly with more of an update on that project as well as some more details for November, but in the meantime please enjoy these inked pages!

And one more character intro comic, despite being one of the oldest MFC side character I never officially introduced The Aggrieved Gamer. He just kind of appeared one day.

Personally I like him a lot because unlike all the other nerd characters he’s pretty mean. He makes a great contrast against MFC and her unbridled optimism.

Got some more pencils for another remake of an old MFC comic, this time the Movie Marco intro. I try not to change these too much and would rather use the opportunity to add stuff. I’m going full George Lucas on the new Movie Flick Chick book collection and taking the opportunity to redraw a few of her first stories for fun, including the Decepticon Josh comic! Maybe you still like the original version better? That’s fine! It’s not like I want to scrub the originals from the internet or anything, I just want the comics in the book to all have a sort of visual cohesion to them. Also I’ll be adding a few new ”first meeting” stories that were never shown before.

Does this technically count as a retcon though? 🤔

Movie Flick Chick Records a Video + New Project Announcements

Hey everyone! I’m officially back from my short hiatus and I have a lil mini comic for you as well as a few announcements.

First off, like I mentioned previously a few posts ago, I have been working through some trials for printed comics. I think I have some good enough experience with them to announce my first NSFW printed comic today, which will be a Movie Flick Chick collection that compiles the two main stories (Nerd House + Jingle All The Laid) along with all the minicomics and a some new original artwork and comics made just for the book. I’ve started a little bit of the reformatting work and sketches for new stuff, but can’t give an exact release just at the moment, but know that it will be soon and I’ll be providing updates as they come!

As for what else I’ll be working on for the remainder of the month, I would like to do a few more minicomics and single pieces while I get the printed stuff all sorted. I’ll also throw up a new fanart poll shortly.

I’d like to also take the time to once again thank you all for being patient for updates the past few weeks, but I have one more surprise I would like to share with you shortly that you’ll have to wait about another week or so to find out. ;)

Quick Update!

Hey everyone, just wanted to say thank you for the support and thank you for being patient with updates this month. I am still working on a few BIG projects right now that are going to take a few more days to finish but I wanted to say I can’t wait to show it off!

I am expecting to finish by next week, after the big announcement I should be back to regular updates again!

Dr. Mrs. The Monarch won this month’s fanart poll and if I’m honest it wasn’t even close. Couldn’t decide on a pose so I went with a collage this time.

You won’t believe how much time I spent online trying to find out if they ever confirmed if The Monarch was circumcised or not, because you know Venture Bros is one of the few shows that would actually canonize that kind of information for some reason.

My research was inconclusive so I used my imagination. 😔
