HEFFALUMPS AND WOOZLES SHOWCASE RENDERS

these models were a collective year's worth of months in the making. I have had so many setbacks, challenges, glitches and hiccups along the way. I am proud to present them to you now. I may do more angles later, but for tonight I am VERY burnt out. I need a day to recharge.

Late again... but here's some previews

I REALLY wanted to do a set of preview renders for these models, but alas, it's now may 1st, and i don't want to leave you guys looking at nothing. I will still the showcase render, but consider this a teaser. 

I made 4 woozles, two of them are squirrellyJay's characters, one from a ref made by blutaiger on deviant art, and the other a ref made by my bud Luden. 

As for the heffalumps, i decided to make more alternate textures for them so they don't look so sim...

I am not sure I'll be ready to show a showcase render before the end of the day. I am sorry, truly sorry i have been so quiet here. I have been working with the models, tweaking the back drop, making new assets, and more. I had hoped I'd at least have the drive started by the start of April, but this did not happen. 

So I must ask, would you guys be okay if i post screen caps later tonight if the showcase render isn't ready? just to show you I have been chipping away and...

dang it, again!

to all of you, thank you for your continued support. I wanted to have something ready at least during march for you all, but I don't just want to have the heffalumps and woozles on an empty backdrop, nor just slap them on the winnie the pooh backdrop from kingdom hearts. as such I've been spending a lot of time working on said back drop, not just for the showcase, but for the growth drive as well. thank you for all your patience my friends!

Heffalumps mostly done, now onto the woozles!

FINALLY, I am far enough along with the heffalumps that i can do the woozles. The woozle designs i'm going with here are 1. jay woozle (designed by squirellyjay), 2. Da Woozle, (designed by BluTaiger on deviant art,) and 3. the lud, (designed by ludren)

I still have to do their hands, mouths, eyes, teeth, final rig, textures and accessories. I wish i was moving faster, but I keep getting so exhausted, and a l...

slow but good progress

I decided to completely rewrite this post. I am actually making such good progress now that I'm back at texturing. crossing my fingers, i hope these guys' rigs are finally done!

Sorry i havent uploaded anything new this month, my main pc is off limits atm due to my room being in the process of being deep cleaned, and my slow progress with the tribal hunter comic. It is moving along, but there is still much to do. Just a few more draft pages and i can start to finalize stuff. Untill then, thank you all for your patience. I hope you all enjoy what's coming!

christmas 2022 project wip

okay, making good progress with the Christmas render project. Kelion is almost finished. Got his krampus/santa outfit on, upgraded his eyes, and added elements he was missing from when I last finished him. I really like how his outfit came out, very cute.

I still need to texture the jingle bells on his tail, saving that for last. Atm I am working on goat train's transformation into the yule goat.

current project

currently, i am working on a very large comic featuring characters and locations from the game "tribal hunter" this comic is well over 10 pages now, and is taking me a while to figure out. This comic is the reason why i haven't done that many sketches this month. 4 more sketches from july

3 of them are part of a series where I show what happens when the frog  actually does what he says from that famous story, and last is a dapper horse rogue.

3/4 of these were inspired by a.i. generated images (from cryaion), while one i used a 3d model as reference. i wonder if you can tell which is which?

Current status

I want to know your opinions on my current trajectory  with doing more sketching. Don't get me wrong, I still plan on doing 3d and animating at some point, but for now I'm drawing.

here are four more i made in July. A inflatable buff lemur, a smug orca captain, a rhino monk and a Lion King for kenji. The reason why the lion's image is cut off oldy is that i ran out of room on the paper, but if i chose to ink it, I'll have space to add a foot in the blank area.

I will upload the next batch next month. There are currently 8 more sketches, 4 I haven't scanned yet. I wanted to draw more but hurt my thumb. it is almost all better, so I'll get back to sketchi...
