Renée sexting image preview (0.1.5 beta)

Hello everyone!

Today I have a sexting preview image from Renée for you. Since she's the last of the regular island girls without any sexting images, this had to be changed.

You can expect between 3 and 5 sexting images for Renée to be part of 0.1.5 beta.

Her shader settings got an upgrade. So if you notice that she looks slightly different in the face, it's related to the new shaders. She is now using similar shader settings as Amy and Yvette.

Yvette beach pose scene gets updated (0.1.5 preview)

Hi guys and gals!

Yvette got a lot of content. But some of it (or most of it) is from the beginning of the game creation. So compared to curent image quality and resolution of the renders, some of her images are not that great any more.

Since she doesn't deserve that, her beach pose scene gets some updates:

• all Yvette beach pose renders are redone in at least 1920x1080 resolution and webp format
• some additional renders will be added 
• a short anim...

Young Yvette at the pool (0.1.5 beta preview)

Hello my friends!

After the preview, here is the finished render featuring young Yvette at the pool.

I'm quite happy with the rendering power of my new hardware.
Six characters in one scene with some pool water is not half bad. I could have probably added one more character.

What has changed since the preview:

• pool water did get a better shader
• four additonal characters added (the guy in the pool behind Yvette is Thomas)

Young Yvette at a pool party (work in progess)

Hi guys and gals!

This is a WIP render of young Yvette at a pool party.
The image will be part of her restaurant scene. She tells us a story about her youth and a nice guy named Thomas (no, not her bf).

I'm have been ill for the last couple of days (flu and feeling like shit) It's a little better, but far from okay unfortunately. So progress is a lot slower than I had hoped.

More people will be added to the pool and around it. In addition Yvette will get a "wet look" too...

This is a preview of the upcoming weight lifting scene with Ivy.

The scene will have two parts, with the second part depending on game progress made with Joy. As you can see, Ivy even got her own reinforced bench.

Picture minigame (0.1.5 preview)

Hello my friends!

These are some ingame image of a new minigame that will be added with 0.1.5 beta.
It's about guessing which one of the girls is in the picture.

The minigame can be activated and deactivated in the night bar talking to Yumiko. Once active, she will send you messages with partially visible pictures. You have to guess which one of the girls is in the picture.

The gym (workout area) gets a shower! (0.1.5 preview)

Hi guys and gals!

The workout area will get a locker/shower room.

In the next release there will be one scene with Faye, sending you a sexting message.
(Yes, there will be some sex too!)

Once I've figured out a good way how to add additional locations without having to change a lot in the interface, the locker/shower will become a location you can visit.
It will need new renders for each girl in a similar style as the pool preview image.
In the case of the shower,...

An idea for a changed pool location (maybe 0.1.5 beta)

Hi guys and gals!

Since I'm not really happy with the girls just standing there and waiting for you to be "clicked", I've tried something different.

I think I can make it work, that the girls can interact with the environment, but they are still overlay images and you can click them.

The main downside is the huge amount of renders it will take to make it work.
Fot the pool location alone it would be 6 positions with 3 outfits for 15 girls. That's 270 renders just for this...

Brenda at the beach (0.1.4.2 preview)

Hi guys and gals,

I was experimenting a bit with the clothes simulation that's part of the newer Daz Studio versions. Basicall you can use "simulated gravity" on any object.
That's what I did with Brenda's bikini top.

The image is one of her sexting pictures. Hope you like it.

Sauna again - triple the fun

Sauna here we go again...

This time testing the limits of my new rig. Rendering three girls is not problem any more as far as GPU memory is concerned. Render time was 30 minutes (2560x1440), which is pretty good given the relatively dark setting and three girls.

Main memory consumption was almost my 16GB now. I have to see what's possible in that regard. Now enough of the tech talk.

Yvette in the sauna (obviously)

Hello my friends,

this was more of a test render than anything else right now. I was experimenting with some dim lights and the effects on render time.

The sauna is a new location that will be added to the Island's spa area eventually.
Not right now, but since the render was quick enough to be useable (20 minutes render time in 2560x1440 resolution), I'm thinking about some settings for the sauna location.

Version 0.1.5 beta - development news (updated 11/03/2019)

Hi guys and gals, this post offers you a collection of news about the next full version of Holiday Island (0.1.5 beta) and the smaller updates towards it.

Holiday Island 0.1.4.0 beta has been released

Hi guys and gals,

I just finished testing, packing and uploading for 0.1.4.0 beta.
The update has 421 new renders and videos.

Most of the new stuff is in ".webp" format and at least 1920x1080 resultion, which reduces space and increases image quality at the same time.

Jennifer - new player room visit (0.1.5 beta preview)

Hello everyone!

What you see is a preview for the 0.1.5 beta (yes you read it right). I'm already working on some new images and scenes for that version as well.

Since 0.1.4 is not far off now, I'm not changing code or writing scenes (except for bug fixing) for the next couple of days. So I'm mainly testing 0.1.4 and rendering for 0.1.5 as well in my free time.

Since we get that cool new player room with 0.1.4, why not put it to good use...
I have some ideas for two scene...

Current image/video score per girl (0.1.4 beta)

Hello everyone,

this is an updated sheet to show the number of content each girl has right now (meaning as I write this). The content will change a bit before the release of 0.1.4 beta.

Let me explain the most important columns:

• rank (now): The girl's rank based on her current content. A video counts as 10 images (was 15 before). I have changed that. Main reason is that I reuse video files with different speeds. And 10 was more appropriate than 15.

Desire weight lifting scene (0.1.4 beta preview)

Hi everyone :)

This is a preview of the extended weight lifting scene for Desire that's going to be part of 0.1.4 beta.
I was thinking about making the scenes in the gym a little more intersting and to have some more variety between the girls. This one is a start.
