April 2024 update post!

Hey everyone and happy April! ✨

As I've been mentioning in discord and a bunch of other posts this month so far, this post is a little extra delayed this month since I've been wanting to finish up a bunch of things first, but starting next month I've made it my mission again to post this first in a month and do everything else later 🙏

So first thing first, a little update on the health issues that hve been plagueing me regularly this month so far, I'm doing alot better...

Late to the party

Fitting title because this is what kept me busy in the past few days, finally found my drive to finish this little shitpost comic project that I originally scribbled the day Validar was finally announced for FEH. I gotta say that I'm not really a Validar fan but it's been such a long running gag how he was included to be in the FEH launch lineup and yet it took him like what, over 7 years to actually be included? 😂

Finally posting this here too, my apologies for the delay considering I have yeeted it on my twitter a few days ago already, but as I've been saying a few times in discord already I'm currently dealing with a period of very heavy fatigue caused by my chronic illness and while I'm grateful that it's 'just' that and not worse symptoms, the past few days have not been great for me thanks to that and it's why I've been fairly slow this month so far 😔

I am sorry y'all but I have rejected Grima now, I have finally managed to free myself from the evil seduction of the fell dragon ways and pledged myself to the light, I've become a Naga faithful now 🛐

Not to be absolutely unhinged bisexual on main but GRIMA IS SO LUCKY, the way working on this had me go absolutely feral dear god. The whole dress design is just * chef's kiss * , took me a little longer to finish this than I had planned but here we are 😤

[Doodle] Black dress Kiran - Backview

This started out as a warmup doodle when I thought to myself "hey, what if I would also add a little backview fade picture to the Kiran dress picture? And it got a little out of hand from here 🤭

This is still going to be a BG fade/ secondary add on for the other picture I'm working on, hence the non-existant background and crop but I thought it would also be nice to share it here solo & without any editting. This was also just great 🍑 drawing practise. Grima is so lucky.

A first time for everything

Okay as you might noticed if you been around discord in the past 24 hours I got straight up possessed and drafted a whole short comic & lined the complete first page out of it (which funny enough is the chronological last page 🙈) . I straight up scribbled the layout for this particular page in like 10 minutes and could not stop, still amazed by the brainworms letting me draw a genuinely good kissing angle 😳

As I said earlier I do not have the time to finish the whole comic atm...

Weird thoughts

This ORIGINALLY started out as a quick warmup doodle for some expression practise + funny shitpost but I got so attached to the idea while sketching I ended up full rendering it because I cannot stop myself and thought to myself "wait I can do what I want for this month" 🫠 So while this is not what I have officially planned for this month's voted art it counts into the "do what you want" part, it might not be as spicy as the other thing I've been sketching but I hope you like it regardless...

Back at the bunny warmups after the past few days had me knocked out a bit with some health-related issues (nothing super bad or huge, just general POTS related things & fatigue with pretty low energy overall) so here's the next one in the line from another request room character suggestion that also tied in perfectly with the 'kinda forgotten by Intsys'-theme I had going with these so far : Hrid! The famously forgotten (1) other male FEH OC that still lives 😂

I had alot of fun with the lighting in this, I hope it shows! Giving Gullveig's hair a glow works as such a neat contrast to the overall nighttime setting.

For today's warmup something that is actually presentable and also a combination with a character suggestion I got, been feeling the cute bunny girls and Kris also matches the 'kinda forgotten Characters' too aside from my Mitama cooldown doodle yesterday so I wanted to draw her in a similar fashion :)

it's kinda blursed drawing more Chibis with normal eyes again though, I've gotten so used to mostly drawing them with dot eyes haha
