I thought it might be interesting to see the progress on this one because this kind of shading always looks super messy in between plus it's a great example to see how much my initial drafts can differ from the final picture. I hope you like this little progress gif to give you a little insight on how I do certain types of shading :D

I went with celshading for this one because I thought it would look pretty neat on it, I hope you think so too! I really like the lighting and background in this picture, although I haven't found a style of drawing that lightblobs yet that I personally love to 100% . Not saying the ones I tried so far looked bad, I just didn't like them to 100%. But hey, that's also a fun thing with art, discovering your favorite way of how to draw something :D

I actually really like this one because it's such a realistic situation plus my inner weakness for cute couples.... this pretty much falls under pictures I'd love to colour and fully shade one day to add tons of cute patterns to their clothes, but I had to stop myself from doing so because I actually need the time in this short month to work on the YCH animation ^^;

title says it all, a little warmup doodle that was done within 12 minutes in its entirety.
nothing special overall, I just wanted to proof to a friend how fast I could draw some tiddies if I wanted to so they aren't exactly 100% perfectly symmetrical or clean or anything like that, pretty much like a speedrawing
the perspective for this one was really fun to do and although it looks accurate, I'm still not 100% happy with it, for whatever reason. But I absolutely love how adorable little Looic looks in Shadow's lap, I'm such a sucker for cute stuff.

since most of you people here are on discord anyways you also most likely know why I'm doing this YCH, because I have some medical bills to cover. Originally I wanted to do it to get a proper animation program but due to the events of the past few days the medical bills are far more important. At least I can use this to get some more animation practise (which was one of my new year resolutions anyways :) so it's a great bonus!)

a little valentine's day card I made for myself as a warm down after I finished the comic page. Happy valentine's day everyone! And yes, shitty V-day cards are my most favorite thing about the valentine's day and I honestly don't care about anything else on it. But I spend a good while each year just looking for shitty Valentine's day cards with terrible puns/innuendos etc. and send them to my friends so I'm super happy I got to make some of them myself this year :D

this one took me far longer than expected due to my laptop randomly giving me a bluescreen and deleting +1 hour of work progress on it. Although I was lucky, since I was in the progress of saving it also could've corrupted my file and that would've been far worse... anyways, I powered through and finished it! this is pretty much the finished basecolours and lines for the comic page, need to add some details to the BGs but I'll mostly do that when I also finish shading the eyes so for the rough Basecolours this should do! I also left the guidemarks for the speechbubbles and some effects on so you can see where the speechbubbles will be ! I mainly did that because some panels looked a bit weird without them, especially the last one since the speechbubble is pretty important there. That's all I'll be...

okay this was done in like 8 minutes I think while I was already half-asleep but I didn't want to forget about this idea so I roughly scribbled it down. Also the sketch is rather tiny so I wasn't able to fit that much detail into her face. Don't ask me why, but whenever I see a picture of Fluttergoth this is the vibe I get from her xD
Also challenging angles are fun to draw, although they also can be rather frustrating

Also I'm recovering pretty well from my surgery, I'm still kinda exhausted from time to time but it's far less than it was last week so I'd call it a good progress :D I'll still try avoid ...
progress gifs are great and super fun to look at so here's one! I kept progress shots of this picture to motivate myself even more when I had the feeling that I wasn't making any progress, which can happen if you work on a picture for too long. Also yeah sometimes pictures make some rather drastical changes from first sketch to the final picture, sometimes my initial rough sketches look really really shitty
